I love your projects, we collect pickle jars as well. My husband would say why are you saving them now he is taking them from me to put screws, nuts and bolts in them. 😂 So I need to paint some for myself thank you, so pretty.

Thank you so very much Marcy you are very kind. Off the top of my head it is 1 part Calcium Carbonate to about 2 parts wet glue, then add a little warm water until the right texture :)

The nest is stunning Wonder why she did not add a bird and eggs Would love a tutorial on how to make one We all need to buy something amazing for ourselves every now and again for no other reason but it makes us smile when we look at it
There were originally little eggs in the nest but they kind of 'melted', I'm not sure what they were made of. I tried making one of the nests (in white) inspired by Vicki if you're interested, you can see it here - czcams.com/video/ENNN8OKlMFI/video.html I think I would improve on the method if I were to make one again now (7 years later). Oh what a shame, that's something I'd do too, I'd do a nice decorative stitching in a white perle maybe a #5 and find something that has a real wow to it to make it stand out and cover the scorch mark. If you follow the line of the curves where they come to a point you could also put some decorative stitching downwards as well...hope you get what I mean 😀The cushion looks amazing though 🤩

So beautiful! I love how you decide what your going to use! That is awesome that you are still finding some of them neutral colors I hardly ever even look now cause I haven't been crafting of any sort cause I'm working. Plus we are remodeling a new home to us. So that is keeping us busy as well. Wow. I can't wait till we move into that new home! I'll have the biggest room for my crafting. Just over a year or maybe two years before we move in. It's fun seeing the transformation from just taking walls out. We are not working on it while we have company over there, so it's taking quite a while. That's why I'm thinking a couple years. But it'll be ok! It'll happen when it happens!
