I agree. It’s giving “grooming”, even if he himself did not have that intention. This was 100% weird and I’m glad the school district made the correct decision to fire him. This was not a cosmetology school. His job was to TEACH the subject he was getting paid to do. No wonder minority students are being left behind academically. SMH
Inappropriate, yes. I don't condone that. Should he have been fired, I don't think so. A write up, definitely. What was his track record? I taught for nearly 20 years. If you wonder why minority kids are failing look at the homes: Is it single, which 70% are, then there's the answer. Kids and schools that thrive have stable homes IN MOST cases. To teach a kid, you have to reach a kid. Kids have to trust and respect you in order to learn, especially if they don't like the subject or don't want to be in the class. This man had that part. My thing is that schools and people are always saying they want more men teaching. I say they really don't, not unless you're gay and or are easily controlled. Evertything you do is WEIRD. You talk to kids a certain way: WEIRD. You teach elementary: WEIRD. You dress a certain way: WEIRD. I hope he starts a business and stays the hell out the schools. My dad is a teacher and he has great relationships with his students. He’s had kids visit him years after they leave and bring him flowers and cards and express how much he has changed their lives so I get it. As a father I’m glad they got this predator away from those little girls. There is never a time when a grown man should be positioning himself this closely to female children.

This teacher may be a nice guy, he has no common sense. Maybe due to his age, he thinks with the mentality of the students he teaches. Perhaps a disciplinary action on his record will make him wake up and behave more like an adult.
Dude also threw his principal under the bus. He said the principal walked in, didn't say anything, and walked out.

I taught for nearly 20 years. A thankless job. As a man, you must know and accept you are not allowed to touch those kids and don't allow them to touch you. This means if they fall, don't help them up. It can be battery. If you break up a fight, they can say you were too rough in stopping it. It can be battery. Leave it to the security guard. Don't take anything from them kids and don't give them anything. They say they want male teachers, but by the actions they take against us, they really want gay male teachers or guys they can control. I'm glad I left. Hopefully, he'll do what I did, though I learned late, get/learn a trade and start a business. If you are disciplined enough to get a degree, you can run a business that will make you a hell of a lot more money with less heartache and stress.

Been following this guy for a while. It’s always seemed like a good wholesome dude. Cared about the kids and teaching them right. Even a few times going against the normal curriculum to teach the kids the real truth about stuff.
This one though, I wouldn’t have done this with the live stream. I think he got too comfortable. You live and learn I guess. Wish him the best…

I get the vibe that hes one of those socially awkward dudes who didnt get female attention growing up so now that hes a teacher he is enjoying the attention that he gets from the young ladies in the class. He doesn't practice appropriate boundaries. Im sure this isnt the first incident that came up which is why they fired him.

Former teacher here… this was definitely unprofessional. Anyone (parent, admin, school staff, district admin, etc) has the opportunity to come in and observe what’s going on the classroom. And besides that, there’s a boundary teachers and students shouldn’t cross, this is one of them.
This man doesn't and didn't have "GOOD MENTAL HEALTH" he went into the wrong profession! This action wouldn't even be appropriate in a University, College, Junior College,Trade School!
