Hi Siah I am so glad that you show the entire construction of the bags you make. You show us one side then speed up the other side you don’t skip it you speed up the film it’s perfect. I so enjoy the care you show in your videos. I have see so many videos where they skip so much of the bag and them come back after every step is done. Thank you again for all your videos.

You are amazing at taking a designers pattern and making it come to life. Even though you do some parts "your way" you don't change the sew order so much that it takes away from what the pattern designer intends. I love how you speed up when it makes sense but sew in real time when it comes to the parts that I am sure everyone wants to see how you accomplish it, like stitching the final top stitching around the top of the bag. As a pattern designer and lucky enough to have you do my videos I have to say that your one of the best out there. Thank you.

Omg, your intros are amazeballs, I always giggle everytime and appreciate the effort you put into it 😂😂😂 You’ve fast become one of my top fave bagmaking channels... and bonus... I had just bought this pattern on BF and I really like your example! 🤗🤗🤗 I just bought some 40m of some great “leatherette” bias in grey, black and a white so I’m fully stocked! I never follow bag patterns on the insides... I always just make a zipped pocket (usually for birthing thru too) and a slip pocket cos I can do them with my eyes closed now and it’s my style 🤗🤗🤗

Thanks you so much for al the hard work you put into these, and for sharing it with everyone

I don't have a Kam press - I've been doing some research on it as I try to decide what to buy. I've heard some people say you have to use a bigger die than your rivets. For instance, if you have 8mm rivets, use the 10mm die.

You could totally use up that big roll of ready-made black cotton piping that you bought on Amazon. Just lay it inside your vinyl strips, as if it was cording, and sew your own piping. You might need to trim it to the cotton stitching line but that is easy. Not wasted then. I doubt you will ever use cotton piping on a bag.

Great tutorial and a super bag. You have also done a great tutorial on the Liberty bag from Needle and Anchor. Fairly recently Needle and Anchor have added an option to change the top closure to a zipper panel closure.

I hit it with some steam and let the zipper rest before installing it. Your bag is beautiful. I don’t even carry shoulder bags anymore, but I had to purchase this pattern. My plan which came to me while sleep is all leather. I have to just find the accent leather to go with this distressed leather I have. Still in the planning stages. I can’t get to cutting and sewing until early September anyway new lighting coming. Your intro is 🔥.
