I love Dugares. I feel like he's a powerful card with actual downsides, and I wish more cards were designed like him instead of Mirror Jade that doesn't really have a real downside. Aside from that, great video as always. Hope your kid is settling in well.

i tried to add mekk knights recently. really liked the idea of going one route or the other depending on starting cards and draw phase. Now after seeing you vid i think ill run a similar style to you. as time passes we will see these type of early stage decks back on top. i would love to see how you make world chalice work in this days meta! great work on the vid!
This is late, but crusadia has come back around to being super competitive in MD again as Purrely/ Kashtira get absolutely flattened by it. I'm running a crusadia/kaiju build with Kyoutou Waterfront over the crusadia spells, Book of Moon over Imperm, and some Cynet minings instead of Reclusia, and it's getting me win-streaks in the double figures. Definitely worth a revisit.

Needed a lowbudget deck to compete with friends who have deeper pockets. After I got all the cards except leonis and missing 2 arboria I still clapped both my friends one with dino deck. Also if the otk doesn’t work its very fun to try and play around everything. also your commentary and editing is awesome high tier! Hope the channel really grows!
Scrypton is another card you can search with formud skipper, if you only have mud skipper in your hand and no crusadia monsters the Scrypton can special summon itself for a magius search where parallel exceed would just sit in your hand until you make another link summon (without another crusadia mon in hand you can´t go past magius if you search parallel exceed) or if you already have a parallel exceed in hand it´s an extra extender you can search, like you did in 30:00 in the video, if you did formud skipper instead of reclusia normal summon you could have searched the Scrypton because the parallel exceed was already in hand with skipper, 1 extra extender in those cases (that way you can run 3 skipper, 3 parallel, and 1 scrypton for a more consistent deck). You can also use Cynet Mining to search skipper, too many cards I know but just throwing that out there.
I like this deck it's very versatile. As a OTK beater it's my favourite deck for that reason, this deck claps up despia, runick - (especially if you already have the otk pieces in your starting hand) and labrynth was my latest beat down, which I enjoyed very much. I would say it far better than numeron on so many levels.
You should add mekk knights as a side deck(specifically red moon, purple nightfall, yellow sun and obviously Blue sky) having cards that can special summon at the second turn is amazing, and the mekk knights have perfect the perfect requirements for link monster. Soldier of chaos is good but goddess of the underworld is perfect. A good strategy is having Synchro monsters such as stardust dragon and Barrone de fleur. Starlight road protects your spells, traps and monsters with its effect while summoning out a free stardust dragon and since crusadia Arboria is a tuner she can use blue sky for stardust or your level 7 kaijus and red moon with yellow sun(2 level 7 mekk knights) to summon baron de fleur. What do you think?
I used to run Sangan with Almiraj which works similar to formud skipper as Sangan can search most of the crusadia monsters and Almiraj has down right link arrow. It's not as good as formud skipper but a very budget option if low on SR tokens.
Also Adventure engine is pretty good with Crusadia as Illegal knight / Gryphon with Arboria makes Baronne and Adventure engine helps break board too and bounce Kaijus to be reused again.

The mekk-knights build is more versatile, but gives some of the board breaking potential. This version is probably more budget friendly. Hope that helps.
Just now discovered this video. Do you still play master duel? If so I think this is perfect for the current event. Whats your thoughts? If you are playing whats your build like for that, since kaijus are banned.
I’m playing Cyber Angels since Kaiju are pretty integral to the otk. If you do try crusadia, I would try to turbo out Avramax with IP Masquerena. It’s pretty tough to deal with in the event unless they have droplet.

I don’t think any deck is very good against tear ishizu. That’s the problem with the format. Crusadia can win, but it’s more a matter of how they play it which isn’t great. That said, low plat and below the deck still does really well, and I’m sure it will do better in the future once they fix the format.
Avramax? Anything that banishes or sends will get around the destruction protection. Negation that doesn’t target like droplet or dark ruler. Kaijus remove him as well. Finally, normal summoned monsters can attack over him because his ATK increase only works against special summoned monsters.
i was able to do the too many kaijus combo like how you said, but then i’m wondering what would of been different if i started with magius instead of regulex. i summon a kaiju and crusadia to get regulex, summon magius from regulex, summon a kaiju to get maximus, and then carry on. why cant i start from magius, summon a kaiju below to get maximus, get regulex and summon a crusadia to get revival, and then equimax. maybe i’m being dumb, i am new.
It's because you can't control more than one kaiju. If you go into magius right away, then you'll still have your kaiju on board and you won't be able to summon another one from your hand. If we go Regulex -> Magius, we use up the kaiju on board so we can summon another from hand and proceed that way. If you have an extender like a monster reborn effect, that wouldn't matter. You could just resummon the crusadia you just used as link material. It's not a combo you have to pull out very often, but I wanted to show off that you could still OTK with a weird start.
10/10 informative. I've gotten Crusadia to Plat 1 but I can't seem to reach diamond against all the tear and dragon link decks. Have you made any changes to your crusadias recently for the new meta game?
Hey instead of 1 monster reborn and 2 world legacy cards, do you think 1 monster reborn, 1 world legacy, and 1 reinforcement of the army would be better?
ROTA is basically another copy of Arboria in the deck. So, it can definitely work since more crusadia monsters = more combo consistency. I find that I prefer the summon from grave though since it works with stuff like parallel exceed. I find it more flexible. But really it’s just a one card difference. I’ve run ROTA in other builds and it works well too.
This is probably a dumb question but what would a follow up play on turn three be after Avramax is made turn 1? I’m a newbie to the deck and the card game in general so there is a lot for me to learn, but in my head, the best case scenario is Avramax does not get outed turn two, but you also can’t do your usual OTK combo due to how the link arrows would be pointing and also, a lot of resources were used to get Avramax out on the field so there is a good chance there isn’t much of a play anyway. Unless your opponent managed to special summon a bunch of times and you somehow had Revival in hand to have Avramax attack every opposing SS monster, and somehow take a chunk out of their life points that way, I am not seeing the win-con? The other scenario is Avramax does get outed, so your EMZ is open, but then we come back to the resources problem, and there is a pretty high chance that an OTK can’t be performed that turn anyway… what am I missing??
So, if your opponent can’t put Avramax that first turn, there’s a decent chance they won’t be able to at all. Then it’s just a couple of attacks to win the game. Alternatively, you can use Avramax to go into magius because he’s a crusadia monster. Then just try for the otk again.

Not really, sometimes it's easier to swing over gameciel because he has the lowest attack, but in the case of crusadia we gain attack equal to the kaiju's anyway. Having several different kaijus also ensures that slumber won't be a dead card, but I wouldn't worry about it if you don't want to play the SR ones.
You can absolutely run Ash over called if you want. The main reason I run called (especially at the time of recording) is that I like to play the deck more "reactive" than "proactive." Meaning, I like to let the opponent do their thing and then break the board. Called helps me play through hand traps on my turn while Ash is better at disrupting on their turn with the upside of also hating on maxx c. Lately however, I have liked playing Ash since it helps against Tear Havnis. But, the meta is pretty messed up for rogue strategies right now. Hope that helps.

why do you use the SR Kaijus? is there any need for them if there are R Kaijus that do the same? am i missing something?

May I ask why you don't run Ash Blossom? And can I do 2 ashe instead of 2 called by the grave?
