Hi, I played Crusadia Kaiju variant too during the Duelist Cup. I enjoy those big numbers too and managed to generate some hype for my community hosted online tournament by scoring 25k damage flex. Good card choice for choosing Nibiru over Maxx C since it's harder to stop. It can't be stopped Called by the Grave and Ash Blossom. Even Crossout is limited to 1 now. If I'm playing this version, I will probably reduce World Legacy Succession to 2 or 1 since it's a once per turn card that can ruin my opening hand if I open with duplicates and adding/replacing some of the Kaiju with the Wind Attribute Kaiju just in case I don't draw Lightning Storm when facing Floowandereeze or Lyrilusc Tri-Brigade so I can out their Barrier Statue of the Wind.

In my deck I actually use the 3 level 7 kaiju spider, a Link slayer as well as using Baronne de Fleur, the crusadia powers and testament. Reason for that is because I want to out counter my opponent. Arboria is a perfect tuner for my level 7 kaiju making me get Baronne de fleur. Linkslayer allows me to destroy spells and traps for free while also combing well with crusadia drago allowing me to bring back a crusadia monster while also leaving one in the grave like arboria to protectbmy monster. Crusadia testament and powers are basically the best cards all the link crusadias especially Avramax. Testament has two effect, your opponent can't negate crusadia effects for the entire turn and if a crusadia link monster destroys a monster in battle, they draw cards equal to its link summon(two pot of greeds if you have avramax) and powers prevent your monster from being destroyed or banished or sent to the grave by BOTH player(if you have a torrental tribute or the Kaiju summon spell, the monster still stays on the field)
Seeing this vid made me want to build my own Crusadia deck, but with a different plan. I'm mashing Mekk Knights and Crusadias together for more special summon power and plenty of good muscle on their own. I'm a bit short on UR/SR material, so it should be easier on me as a sorta budget player. UPDATE: I just built it, and I can't get enough of OTKing people with Equimax! The Mekk-Knights also help a lot with board presence and give some cool interaction options!
Well, the deck is fun, but just looking at it I can see that it bricks as f*ck, 23 cards of the deck don't let you start the combo to grow, and a Maxx C is your ruin (And no, you can't just have the 2 called by the grave always) as giving so much card advantage usually means that you HAVE TO win or you lose, Ash is at 3 in almost every deck so it can disrupt your plays and most of the time, if the rival has Nibiru, you already lost as this deck don't have any negation, and in addition to that, going second means that the rival can use traps like Infinite Impermanence (Which is less useful because you have that lightning storm, but a negation on board is still your ruin, and baroness is a staple) . I reccomend putting formud skipper in the deck, it will help you search those Parallel, and salamangreat almiraj in the Extra, just take out the XYZ as you hardly ever will go into them, then take out Knightmare Phoenix, as you rarely will need it, and you want that regulex search for Crusadia power as your boss monster wants to be inmune if needed, then, instead of Kaiju Turtle, put Kaiju Moth because that's a wind monster and you can use it against flowandereeze. Having Almiraj, you can put Maxx C and Ash in the deck if you want. I understand the deck but the thing is that, as Yugioh is nowadays, going second requires that you can deal with everything, and sadly you can't, you can't deal with that baroness that negates Nibiru, that Ash that locks you out of monsters, that Auroradon that gives them a board full of tokens, that swordsoul synchro that negates your monster, that effect veiler and that called by the grave all in the same turn, and thats without talking of DPE and Adventure Engine, the last one being absurdly easy to pull off as it only requires a card of the engine and yes, it will negate Nibiru too, or storm, or slumber. TL;DR Fun deck, but it wouldn't help you get out of platinum (you can reach it tho), and I will add another cards for consistency as kaijus can't go into crusadia Links for themselves
was thinking about making this deck but as you said way to many bricks and can easily be stopped what would you take out of this deck to add in the cards you mentioned
@@Katame131 I would take out Nibiru, as the meta is, you rarely use it against a meta deck, the engine to counter it is on the field before the fifth summon, so it would always be countered, and is a dead draw on other turns, (btw, that's why Nibiru, which every deck used before, stopped seeing play, baroness counters it, adventure engine counter it, the now banned vanity's emptiness counters it, and even flowandereeze counter it with the statue and apex), next I would take out one parallel, you only need two as drawing it isn't that important to grow your board and you can search it using formud skipper, next is kumongous, there is no reason to use it really, next I would have only two world legacy succesion, as it needs a link to resurrect one of your monsters, and finally choose between slumber or lightning storm, probably slumber would go out of the deck, and the versatility of lightning storm is useful in a go second deck. Then fill the space with Formud Skipper, Ash, Maxx C and Impermanence because you are always going second, so a handtrap that you can use on the first turn of your opponent is one of the most useful things you can use, and Imperm can be used on your turn too. Oh, btw, i would have reclusia at 2 and leonis at 3, it's more attack to boost your boss monster and the ability to pass trough a defense position monster is more important than the ability to sacrifice itself to destroy one card of the rival, usually.
Just started to play with this deck, it's actually pretty fun and strong, wish i had it when the link festival first started otherwise i recon it could of completed it for me, out of time now :(

16:19 I am not sure whether MD are using ocg rules or not, but in ocg trigger effect from hand cannot create chain block. You need to pass your priority before activating any hand trigger effects.
I think we were just talking about two different things. I was referring to Exceed's effect when summoned to Magius' link zone. Since both effects happen simultaneously, you stack the triggers to prevent your opponent from Ashing the search for Maximus.
Vs Gizmek If you have Linguriboh, Link-1 Salamangreat, or Link Disciple. It better to bring them. You can use them to maximizing the Exceed. Regulex, link-1 using 1 Exceed, search spell, then Equimax. . I know you already notice the misplay. But, I just curious why Crusadia player rarely bring link-1 cyberse.
I’ve played it in Diamond before, and it felt fine. It really depends on the matchup though. I think blind second is pretty legit in master duel’s best of one format. Don’t get me wrong, it’s not the best deck ever, but OTKing through an opponent’s crazy board feels really good. I have a more recent Crusadia video if you wanted to look at that one.
Use Spatha and search Draco with magius. Spatha can move your crusadia monster so you can summon another one. I'm working on a crusadia guide. It should be up in the next week or so.
Do you think this can help me with the Duelist Cup? I'm having a hard time not using Adventurer Engine or Floowandereeze or Eldlich. I pretty much have all the Kaijus already since I run a Danger Kaiju deck.
I'm level 18 with a variant of the deck right now, and it's really tough. Floo and Eldlich are very difficult. You can win, but it feels like everything has to go right for you. Going against adventure/DPE actually isn't bad since you have all the tools needed to break their board. However, the benefit to using a going second deck is you get to second in every game. I've played in duelist cup a lot, and I've never once been forced to go first after level 12 or so. If you do try out the deck, play Gadarla. It's Wind, so you can still Kaiju the wind barrier statue.
@@iremiagaming I'm level 16 atm and I am STRUGGLING LMAO. I actually think I'm gonna make this deck anyway because it looks fun. I don't think I can tryhard enough to reach max level in Duelist Cup anymore, however. Thanks for that Gadarla tip, though. I've never actually thought of that before.

I've been playing crusadia for a bit and I definitely recommend running link spider for when you're opponents nib
