The Last Ever Scania L94UB Wright Solar Service With Translink.

Saturday 30th March 2024 saw an end of an era. This day saw the end of Scania L94UB Wright Solar operations with Translink with F/N 2447 being the one to play host.
In this video, we capture Solar 2447 operating the last ever L94UB Solar run towards Kells on 149b.
These vehicles have been in Translink’s fleet for over 20 years with the first example being produced in 2000.
Only one of these vehicles now remain in the whole Translink fleet (F/N 2412) which is now Translink’s Safety Bus in their auxiliary fleet. However it is looking very likely that 2412 will be withdrawn before the new year.
As for public service, the L94UB’s are now officially history.
