Honestly wish they had kept some elements from this live to the album. I love Cameron’s new bassline on the third or fourth verse and how much more raw and expressive the guitar feedback sounds here too. Goes to show how talented they can be 🤙
@@EllisAudio He was only gone for five months when this live performance was posted. I was more referring to the Cavalcade Era than I was this performance anyways as he still makes it onto two cuts of the album. Even on said cuts, Cameron’s bass playing still stands out wonderfully :D

This sounds like if John L was on Schlagenheim
And that's why we're all here, not because Cavalcade

Captain Beefheart fans etc ought to get it... Not easy listening but kicks ass🤷🏻♂️
@@aakkoin too bad I don’t know any Captain Beefheart fans other than myself
@@AbrahamOfWorms Well I love Captain Beefheart, I posted a little poem from him, not much unlike Black midi kicks ass.
You got me, bro
the blues transition is the craziest thing I've ever heard and is exactly why I love this band
Genuinely caught me off guard, it made me rethink my life’s decisions 😩
that was so dumb and i love it so much
The Orange Tree Boys made an appearance.
Acdc-whole Lotta rosie
I think my brain actually may have just melted. Can't believe how different this is from the album version

yes
5:03 Geordie's tone when he goes "I don't know we'll have to see" sounds so hilarious like he's making fun of the interviewer.
someone should compile all the John L Versions. (John Hell, Martin A, Tony S, the studio version, and other liver versions.)
I will do that
@@steelingcable6350 i will wait for you to upload it
I've done it
Jay L from the variety hour too

The sailing chefs picture is threatening in a very specific way
It’s got the same vibes as walking in on something highly illegal

Fun fact Geordie was actually going for his inner MC Ride
Straight out of the Seer

Somehow even better than the KEXP sessions. Holy shit.
ah that whole lotta rosie transition makes me smile
These boys are already legendary, can wait to see what they are doing in 10 years time.
@@r7coo Hopefully they don’t end up slowing down like Mara Volta did. If Cavalcade proved anything, it’s that they get better with every album.
pure schlagenheim baseline. epic
For two talented guitarists/vocalists and an absolute unit of a drummer, Cameron stands out perfectly 😳

I always thought it sounded like Of Schlagenheims progressive older brother
