Tbh, I think the franchise owners are more to blame. Employees at various places being underpaid or having to wait for a 'corrected check' for correct hrs worked doesn't entice folks to come in to work. Too many are already unable to pay bills along with working in a high stress environment. Automation can only go so far, they still need people to work.

Sounds like the staff is concerned with doing what is easy for themselves and not providing quality service for the customer. I doubt that losing their job is much of a worry. You are very expressive and it is like you are actually talking to the person watching the video and not just a camera. Great energy! I wish I knew how to do that.

All the McDonald’s have bad doughnuts and apple fritters. The humidity messes them up. The doughnuts don’t get to breathe. So the icing absorbs into the pastry. They need to store them a better way.
I work for mcdonalds and the doughnuts and apple fritters (along with everything mc bakery) are actually stored in little boxed that they arrive in. Only a few get stored on the display thing.
I worked at McDonald’s also and rather than argue with my comment point being is there glazed products are bathing in there own humidity causing the pastries to absorb the icing.
Freaking donut 🍩 holes they call 'em pull apart but it ain't no legit "pull apart" I've ever eatin or made. Just a frikkin reg donut 🍩. We all know how 💩 glazed donuts are after they sit forever! 🤢

As an employee at McDonald’s, we are always short on staff so I’m working backline(frying food) grill and table at the same time but I still get food out under 4 mins

The worst McDonald's I have ever been to was located in the Uptown neighborhood in Chicago Illinois.
A location is only as good as the people who work there and in this case the people were some of the rudest I have ever met.

When you want fresh fries ask for fries with NO salt. They will have too make you a fresh batch!
Back after high school I worked at McDonald's and the manager hated that 'trick' she would make sure you were pulled up and waited extra long if you asked for no salt fries and she would already bag everything else so your burger would be on ice by the time you got your meal, and would "forget" to put salt packets in the bag every time as she ranted about it.
i can't remember the last time I've had a hot Big Mac with the cheese melted, they are always cold. They need to take some lessons from Five Guys because they are nearly as expensive now.

When did short staff equates to poor service? It should be slow service of anything. Don't sacrifice quality and speed for quantity.

FWIW, McDonald's owns very few restaurants; most are franchise-owned, so in spite of the McDonald's corporation supposedly enforcing standards on them, it would seem that doesn't actually happen.

Only things I go to McDonald’s for are the fries, nuggets, and double quarter pounder. Everything else can kick rocks. Bacon McDouble gets an honorable mention though.

not really, if you ask for no salt, they will still make them the same way. PS: their employees will get mad at you if you order the fries without salt but ask for a sack of salt later

Yeah fresh fries are awesome too bad they hardly give you fresh ones. When they do however, now that is nice.
Now that I think of it bacteria actually is collected on those sitting fries so McDonald’s really should do a swap for fresh fries on the basis.

I'm pretty sure it depends on the location, at least for my local McDonald's we have the kiosk but they havent been used at least from the times I go there.
Shhh I work here lmaoo but anyway there's 4 at 5:28 ish you can see the card reader of the kiosk on the other side of there tables but yeah we have 4 that are always on and no one ever used them and gets mad that they chose to make a line when they could of used a simple touch screen
