- The Xbox One X is already almost 7 years old, however don't let that fool you since it still packs a punch for a tiny price! The Xbox One X in 2024 delivers native 4K gaming up to 60 FPS, has Game Pass and can still play most of today's modern games. Also, did you know that the Xbox One X in a way is more powerful than the Xbox Series S?

WE BACK FELLAS 🎉
Next video is already dropping next week!
As A Series X owner I couldn't go back to the One X playing in 4k 60 fps with photoreal graphics is too good to go back to 4k 30 with that said the only reason I wouldn't recommend the One X is because most AAA games coming out are next gen only
Of course you can't go back! I mean if you upgraded to an iPhone 15 Pro then why would you go back to an iPhone X, it's the same thing. For those who haven't experienced 120 fps (One X does 60 fps in several games) won't notice the difference until the day they get next-gen.
Nevertheless don't forget the price you can get this console for. Also, as of today the only next-gen AAA game that I've wanted to play is the new Forza Motorsport, and it's fine with Could Gaming. But yeah, more and more games are becoming next-gen only. Black Ops 6 is coming to the Xbox One so I'm looking forward to try that on my One X.
Oh and photoreal graphics? Except for missing ray tracing I can barely tell the difference from the One X and Series X (only speaking of graphics). I'm playing on a 4K TV and wow, I can't believe you can get your hands on such a powerful console for as low as 50 buckaroos. The textures and game environments are outstanding.
i was thinking of getting a one x i had the project scorpio i loved it an you have a beautiful cat ❤❤😊
@@Odeboo"can't tell the difference" have you seen forza motorsport in Dolby vision on performance RT mode? Or how about the realistic mountains on Star Wars Jedi Survivor? Have you played Cyberpunk 2077 and seen that realistic bar that's mind blowing?? 🤔 maybe you have. Thanks for the reply! love your content keep em coming.
@@gabrieljohnson1854 Ah thanks mate! I'm going to be honest and say that I haven't, but I have on PC. Played the new Forza on Series X and that being not supported on the One X I can't really compare them. But nevertheless it does look absolutely incredible! And then again, the One X can be found really cheeeeeap these days :)
Xbox One X (Scorpio) will always be one of my most beloved devices. It is very capable and has a beautiful, elegant design.
I have a ps5 so having a one x is great to have. Such a good system and ganes look great on it
Great to hear! 😃
I have the One X and the Series X. I have the Series in the living room. One X in the man cave, The One X is indeed a superb machine.
One massive advantage that the One X has over the Series X and S in my eyes is that you can easily replace the internal hard drive and put a ssd as you mentioned while on the Series consoles you can but it has to be only the brand of drives that they use during the manufacturing process and you have to carefully clone and plus if the internal ssd dies then the whole console is an expensive brick that you can't repair yourself at all and have to send Microsoft for a 300$ repair
Oh yes definitely! Also, as someone like myself who has a custom built PC, I can easily swap out the SSD into the One X if I would happen to play on it more often. Then just swap it back to my PC for those periods where I use that more 😃
I added a 2TB SSD to my One X which has the Taco Bell bong startup and it’s nice. With the new systems coming around the end of the year prices are changing and the current Series X I’ve seen some sales around 400. But the new 2TB Series X being 600 you can skip the 2TB expansion card which at the moment is 200 so it’s almost the same price but put it into the 2TB model and boom 4TB that’s a lot of storage. Or stick to the 1TB Series X and get either the cheaper 1TB upgrade or the 2TB. Which puts it at 3TB total. Just depends on your storage needs.
Been waiting for this one, loves the last Xbox one X vid ❤. (3 am here in UK was worth staying up for this)
Ah cheers mate I really appreciate it! And I now realized I did a whoopsi because it was supposed to drop 4PM. Hahah oh well 😅
Great video! Got a One X recently and put a SSD in it and it's become my favourite console. Only use my 3070 PC for PvP gaming.
Your ok with 30 fps??
@@gabrieljohnson1854 a lot Xbox One X enhanced games have a performance mode which defaults to 60fps. So I set it to performance mode as I'm only playing on 60hz screens. Just use my 3070 gaming PC for PvP games where fps matters. I still have some of the same games on PC, PS4 and Xbox One X such as Skyrim, Bioshock Infinite, Rise of the Tomb Raider, Spyro etc but prefer to play those on the One X. Just feels better and I can get into the game instantaneously. PC there's a few things you have to do or wait for then choose all your custom settings for each game. Doesn't feel as chill. Only difference I've noticed is that Witcher 3 will incorporate battle statistics on the lower left hand corner of the screen, whereas consoles don't have this information.
@@MystikalSage Skyrim is 30 fps on One X and you have A 3070 which is on par or even better than A series X with the right CPU setup. I can't believe what I'm hearing and on top of it you're forcing yourself to play those games that actually are 60 fps on One X like halo 5 guardians which is pretty bad. But if YOU like those games on your One X I'm not going to hate the One X is very capable but wait til you play Series X it truly is the next gen One X
Well an Xbox doesn't have all the game launchers, it's all in one place. And playing with a controller is far superior than a keyboard & mouse in story games imo. Even if I got a ''dope a$$ PC setup'' with a 3070 as Sage, nothing beats the laid back experience of kicking back, grabbing a drink and get on a captivating game (bonus points if it's on a sofa and a 4K TV). That's why I love the One X so much, especially with a SSD installed and for the low prices they're going for 😎
@@Odeboototally mate 👍
You are misleading, you can only play selected games in the cloud that are included in the gamepass subscription. You won't be able to play new games if they're not available on GamePass, so you're making total nonsense. Xbox one X is no longer practically supported by new games, no game updates are available anymore. A pointless comparison of Xbox Series S? do you play or read the specifications? Series S has a lot of game updates up to 60 fps that the One X will never receive. Series S is supported all the time, it's faster, quieter and new games are coming out for it. The comparison to the new generation is at least ridiculous.
Your wasting your energy 😂
@@kimsoo16 I don't think so. Maybe someone will read it and not be disappointed about cloud gaming and new games.
You sound like a Microsoft sales rep.
@@CoolestKidOnTheShortBus Hehe 😅 write the truth and I already sound like a Microsoft employee. I wrote facts and nothing else, based on information available everywhere and not misleading anyone.
Daymn man, I mean you're not wrong but I wouldn't call that misleading and total nonsense. Cloud Gaming already includes several AAA games. If anything, it’s the next-gen indie games that might be missing, which many people might not consider. For me and many others new Xbox games haven't been captivating to get due to one hell of a dry lineup of modern games, therefore many are still more than happy with their One X or looking for one.
Uh and pointless comparison? This was a way to show how powerful the GPU in the One X is, and that it has a 4K Blu Ray disc drive.
You know, when I bought the One X last year I was highly considering the Series S as it only was about $20 - $50 more expensive than the One X, but it quickly was clear which one I wanted. Those who only care about high FPS and speed, then the Series S is the clear choice. Then there's those who care about maxing out the graphics, that own a backlog of Xbox One disc games and just enjoy the gaming. Then the One X is a good option and ended up being the console I picked, I do not regret it at all.
I bought my Xbox One X when the Xbox Series X was release in late 2020 on Rakuten (I don't know if you've got that in Sweden). It is a "Project Skorpio" Limited Edition in box for 180€ minus nearly 80€ with some discount point.
I've just got a 4K television at that time and I'm from the Xbox One FAT model, the One X was an Amazing upgrade. Every game that I own look so great on it.
IMO, the Xbox One X was THE pro model of the previous generenation, compare to the PS4 Pro, it's wasn't just the standard model with a better GPU, it was mind with 4k as the target and they just rethink the hardware. So the quality jump between both xbox one Fat/S and X is so Huge.
Now with the Series X as the juggernauts of Xbox hardware and the end of the CrossGen Game, the One X is kind tough to recommand as the main gaming device. BUT for someone who want to discover the Xbox brand, it's a great device !!!
Now that's a solid deal. The upgrade from the original Xbox One must have been huge. And I completely agree with you, the One X was the console to go for if you wanted the most performance. Been using the One X as my primary gaming console for a solid year, and for the games I play it handles it exceptionally well!
Yes I now do got a Series X which I bought last month, but I just couldn't resist when I saw it listed for $320 which was a steal imo. But I still feel like I didn't need to upgrade. The One X was perfectly fine for what I was playing on it and also, the One X is still a great entry point to the Xbox ecosystem 😎
I just upgraded from my day one xbox one to a series s. Such a smooth transition. Although I will miss playing my old disc games but that's why I kept my xb1 for.
That's wise!
Still have my Xbox Scorpio edition.
I bought a used project scorpio edition. It's in great condition, I swapped out the HDD with and SSD and I'm pretty impressed how well it keeps up.
Ah love to hear that!
A friend of my cousin sold me his mint condition Xbox One X for $50 bucks USD! Needless to say, I wasn't disappointed. I owned a One S before it and it felt so unpowered, I played any newer games on it. You haven't truly experienced that gen until you've played those games enhanced on One X, or the Series X... 🤷
That's right! Glad you enjoy the console :)
i love the humoristic twist on this video.. subbed on that alone..
Thank you so much, I really appreciate it!
Nice channel and video!
I do use both One X scoprpio and Series X for different pourpuses. The catalogue is so large...only one do not cover all
One x forever
Cheers, I appreciate that a lot!
I have the xbox one chunky version but I may eventually try to upgrade to something more modern maybe the series s though I would get the one x but not sure yet.
Sounds good! Here are some insights. Consider whether you prioritise performance or graphics and whether you prefer physical discs or digital downloads. The Xbox One X is more affordable and provides a solid upgrade. However, some modern games are starting to drop support for it, although this hasn't become widespread yet so it will still be plenty of games for it!
Great video!!!
Thank you! Glad you enjoyed it 😎
Swapping internal HDD with a S-ATA 3 SSD is a game changer for Xbox One X as it will speed up the whole system.
Even better if you also insert a 2.TB Samsung T5/T7 SSD in a USB port.
Fun fact: USB HDD is faster than the internal HDD on Series X and is why i have 8.TB in USB on mine.
2 x 4.TB Seagate Xbox Game Drives (White Xbox branded).
Just amazing that you can speed up the One X in different ways :)
I play Halo Infinite on my One X and it's flawless at 1080P without enabling 4K.
08:00
"AAAAAAAAARGH"
LOL
I said this so many times before. 4k with disc drive UltraHD Blu-ray player plays 3 generations of games (4 while streaming with GamePass Ultimate). Also it has a sleek design that allows it to be placed anywhere without drawing attention like the monolithic Series X or PS5 consoles.
I bought my xbox one x for 300 dollars in mint condition in 2019 with four controllers and an official xbox two terabyte external harddrive. I upgraded to the xbox series x but still use my xbox one x as a cable box to watch tv, and it's on ALOT. Good thing the cooling is incredible.
That's awesome to hear :)
Buy a 50 dollar sata ssd of Amazon and it’s basically a next gen console
I bought xbox one x months after release for 350€ with a game included. We are now in 2024 and still use it on my old sony bravia 1080p tv 43 inches for 500€ that I got couple years before (when I still had xbox 360 slim)
I kinda wanted to buy series x on release date but it was sold out everywhere for 2+ years so I decided I will skip to next generation (I dont like buying a console mid/end life cycle. I only like to buy on release date)
I still have my gears of war one with a western digital my book 18TB for all my games
Sooo you basically own GameStop ;)
Got a PS5 but can't stay away from my my onex everything looks so clean on it and some amazing games. The AI on the onex is something else.
I tried to get one of these without gamepad or games for 70/80€ but people think they still got gold in it, I wanted to collect a few games and see how good this little beast can handle the majority of the games, I think microsoft made a huge mistake for removing this console from the market instead of the standard xbox one or one S, this console should have been released with SSD sata in mind instead of nvme, the design and its smaller makes it very desired peace of hardware to collect.
Too late bro i already got a used xbox series x in good conditions without a controller at 226 euros
€226 is such a steal! Lowest I’ve seen is €320
Me for 400 chf my series x
Well one thing i did say before and i always knew it and my pov of why It makes so much sense Now in 2024 Is because Its Tech is Much higher piwered and better than the other xbox one consoles amd as well If you had an SSD the right one in the xbox one X It would be close to Power as the Series X
I just scored a awesome deal pne x on fb for 100 bucks bro I have a ps5 but use to be on 360 so now I can play all my childhood games gears 1-3 specifically but even most new games r still being released for it and does 4k60
I have an Xbox and it's great. My only complaint is when it comes to game mods...huge drawback compared to pc.
Graphics don't matter. 1080p is completely fine for me.
Got one today for 275 euro brand new❤
The one X is a good console, However the series S is so much quieter and has a faster processor, also the one x doesn't do 4k native it's 1800p upscaled as it's only a rx 580 in the console. If there both the same price id go for the faster series s.
I got a series for 130$ yesterday.
Sounds like a solid deal, enjoy it!
I really miss my xbox one s
Installed a 1Tb SSD in my One X a few years ago and till this day it’s made me happy with speeds and performance. Obviously I can’t play some new games only released on the series X BUT nothing has my Attention just yet so it saved me 4 years of nonsense
Yup same here! The next release that I'm interested in is Black Ops 6, and it's coming to the One X so it'll be interesting to see how it performs 🙂
Beautiful console Xbox One X ❤️.
Sooooo sleek and beautiful!
Might as well get a used Series X. You can get it cheaper when used while handling performance for all games (besides crap like Hellblade 2) very well.
Ya ya is all right!wen you like play game a the half of redolution from the game potential buy it a onex!Wen you wanna the max from game and more setting Series X!And onex dont can play newgen game an that is the point!i have ps1,2,3,4 ,4pro and series s and x is enought!
Xbox 1 X is still really damn good
Just buy a series s?
As a Xbox one X owner. I wasn't really impressed with the current hardware options. I bought a PS5 instead. I had been with Xbox since day one of the original model. And unfortunately Microsoft just lied a little too much and my peripherals didn't go to the next console and i became disenfranchised.
I kept my One X upgraded the hdd to a 2tb SSD. I use now mostly for Kodi. The machine os a beast. For sure. But most powerful doesn't Equate to most fun.
But i do love it. It has pride of place in my front room with my 360 S Xk3y and PS5.
Non serve più a nulla tanto c'è la series x che è retrocompatibile
No wants that Xbox X for $170 I saw in Facebook marketplace brazil
Makes sense up until gta 6 comes out
and got it for 350
The s is good too I got one
I use Xbox one s daily
Not seeing the Xbox One X for “Just over $100”.
I don’t trust buying a used one off of eBay. Getting a console that’s been banned isn’t something I want to deal with
I averaged the most common prices I found across several websites, and prices vary by country you know. Additionally, sometimes you simply might have to wait a couple of days for one with a good price to pop up, or do some deep searching. If you're sceptical about buying from eBay, there are plenty of other options, including various websites and potentially pawnshops as I mentioned in the video. But at the end of the day it's your choice :)
@@Odeboo I'm just careful about banned systems. A friend of mine had that situation, and so did his son.
I know I can play my older titles, and have a little over 50 original Xbox and 360 titles. That would tide me over until I found more exclusives on the XBO.
Still find it funny that in a world with Sony numbering their systems, Microsoft names their third console "One". Plus taking the letters of the Xbox One X. X B O X. They spelled Xbox again. I half expected the fourth system to be named Origin or something.
Just use cex
@@uberdudeface No clue what that is, and just telling me to do something isn't going to encourage me.
Mate dont compare the seris s with tis last gen x because it s not comparable because of gen upgrade!
?!?!?!
One x is worth nothing to me cause i own a series x
Huhhĥhĥh
I am like number 0 lol
Now that’s an achievement. Here’s a trophy 🏆
@@Odeboo
Notice: x1 Odeboo Trophy has been added to inventory.
Wonderful, as of right now it’s a limited edition so take good care of it 😄
It’s a piece of junk someone buy mine if it’s so good.
Been using it for one year straight and I can't complain, it's been performing better than I first expected. 4K gaming for as low as $50 is just crazy.
