I appreciate seeing the origins of a lot of Chappelle’s bits through these interviews, eg: how the masturbating on the bus joke found it’s full creation in his 2004 Showtime special. But I also find it funny how much he reuses jokes during different interviews - the crackhead bit reappears after he moved back to NY sometime in later 2001-2004. But it’s still funny each time!

His interviews are like stand ups. If you watch the 1999 and 2002 interview, you can see how he either already had some sketches in the works (bus hostage, whore uniform) or he came up with them right on the interviews. Brilliant as hell and makes an interview that much better.

I was born in 91. Big fan o tupac. Juz found out around 2015 that he auditioned to play the black guy in the forest gump movie, his friend with the shrimp idea. Same with star wars. Samuel L Jackson's part. Starwars creators (George Lucas) especially originally wanted tupac for that. Ain't dat effin crazy?
