It's wonderful seeing you being so happy and relaxed. Living in the moment and then just spontaneously going in a different direction. Many dream doing this when they get old and retire from their job, the key word "dream". You've proven it doesn't have to be a dream, but a reality if you choose so. Colouring is a wonderful form for mindfulness it lowers the heart rate and puts you in the moment. You go girl.
That's true. A friend of mine who had a nervous breakdown and went into the hospital for it told me the first thing the medical staff makes you do is color.
I've always found coloring to be stressful. You have to be mindful about staying in the lines, and then the repetitiveness of filling in blocks of the picture. Not my thing. I find reading to be much more relaxing.
@@brandonb.5304 being focussed and stressful are two different points. No one is scoring your colouring, you are not selling your work it is just an activity. You may start off bad at staying in the lines but get better as time goes on. The focus, working on having a steady hand are all factors which make it mindful. At any time you have one boundary and one colour to focus on it pulls you into the moment.
The issue with reading which is a good form of relaxation but less so for mindfulness. It often evokes emotions, make take you in directions which are harmful and it can reinforce unhealthy thoughts as the material preselected with mood. The example of someone in a depressive state is more likely to select a sad or depressing book than a jolly, happy one. Mindful tasks and activities are generally have simple and repetitive structure so whittling, knitting, colouring, climbing, walking etc.

Brilliant Ame! Just absolutely brilliant. Great scenery, wonderful editing and music selection. Loved seeing that you still enjoy coloring. I thought I was the only grownup left in the world that still enjoyed spending time engaged in a child's activity. I think it's so relaxing and I love bringing to life a dull black lined picture with so many choices of colors.
I use felt pens, not crayons. 🥰 Wonderful parents, so good seeing you three together, along with the three kidlets. ❤ 🐕🐕🐕
LOL girl you are so hilarious. omg I hate going to the laundry spots, we here in Florida have many of these and it is too many instructions. I remember there was a dryer setup where they are 2 dryers in a slot, 1 is for top, 2 for bottom dryer. and at first, I did not know that and I put in quarters in the wrong dryer, so I had to switch my clothes to the bottom dryer and yeah. Love the model walk and the dancing. That view in the morning is so beautiful by the seaside. I wonder how other people act when they see other people live same way in their trucks, van, etc, are they socially outgoing or just, leave me alone kind of way lol. You are awesome and hopefully you still do the coloring in the mornings. best way to do something fun, peaceful when waking up. gets the creative mind going and ready for the day. Also just a fun thing to do in mornings and at night, if it is possible for you to try, do some fun zumba and belly dance for exercise. It really helps a lot to keep fit and active while living the van life. Much love.

Funny how laundromats in Europe are so different than ones here in the US..(They seem smaller, as where the one i go to has about 30 washers of various sizes/loads, and about 40 dryers along two walls.
