    Nuclear medicine technologists prepare radioactive drugs and administer them to patients for imaging or treatment. They provide technical support to physicians or others who diagnose, care for, and treat patients and to researchers who investigate uses of radioactive drugs. They also may act as emergency responders in the event of a nuclear disaster.

    I had nuclear scans doing in the past and the airlines TSA won't let you fly out of the airport in Minnesota and USA. Saying it is that we are dangerous to flying on planes. Due to the dye radioisotope I got and I had to cancel ✖❌❌❌❌ my vacation time due to the dye radioisotope. Please teach the TSA agents of the radioisotope a threatened the crew and people on the plane.

    I have a question, you are requested to answer.
    What is the main difference between madical laboratory scientist and madical laboratory technologist?

    • @CareerWatch
      @CareerWatch  Pƙed rokem +2

      Medical Scientist will be doing research and usually requires a PhD. Medical lab tech tend to work in hospitals doing blood work. Doesn't require as much education.

    I see they don't have any option for middle eastern and Latinx people. I wish the demographics were broken down in a better way.
    Anyways, that sounds like an interesting career!

      They have “Latino/hispanic” which covers Latinx, but straight up I think middle eastern people just have to check “other” on census stuff it’s kinda fucked up.

      Nuclear medicine techs have to pass licensing exams specific to that modality. I believe it’s the JRCERT or something else, just google “how to become licensed nuclear medicine tech USA”
      But also, some states have their own licensing so make sure to check out the specific state you’re going to move to
