Wow... snapmaker reaching out. I have been loving my 2.0 for years. It's been a journey and still plenty more to learn now with the rotory mod. Im a little late, but thanks again for your great videos

Anyone who is going to do laser cutting/engraving need to do their homework on secondary hazards. Burning of certain materials releases toxic fumes. In particular PVC, leather and anything with epoxy/phenolic resins

This will be interesting, Jack of all trades master of none?

Thanks for posting this overview. I've had the same model for a couple years and have run the printer regularly. Still prints like new but can struggle with TPU. I've heard that the idler wheel door needs to be left open slightly in order to put less pressure on the filament. I've seen people online tape the door slightly open. This prevents the TPU from getting bent or from the drive wheel grinding in a rut. Maybe I just need to slow down the print speed significantly. I also haven't had any luck controlling the heated bed temperature even though it is adjustable in the software and the touch screen. I look forward to other videos with this equipment.

This looks interesting, I might need this. How come the X1C has been replaced in the back corner? I am really enjoying the new 3D printer content on the channel!

If your first layer does not adhere to the bed, melted plastic will back up into the head and permanently clog it. Snap maker will happily sell you a replacement head for $100, but will never help you figure out how to avoid destroying the next head. you get the picture!

I’m looking to buy a 3D printer and a laser engraver as well. I like the idea of an all in one since space for me is limited but i have found that its hard to find an all in one that is good at all areas. It’s usually just ok in all areas to where if you bought a 3D printer then you bought a good 3D printer…as compared to an all in one. Same as the engraver, its not as good as a true engraver but is ok. I dont want something that as i get going that i realize a short time into it that it does ok as a hobby but to make money with it not so good. Do you have any thought on what i should consider ?

The parts of the device are not made of cnc aluminium, most bits are extruded aluminium👍
