------ Kitakami - Japanese Tier X cruiser. At the outbreak of the Sino-Japanese War, Kitakami provided cover for landing operations of Japanese troops. In the second half of 1941, she was armed with ten quadruple-tube 610 mm torpedo launchers for night torpedo attacks. In 1942, the ship was converted into a high-speed transport for escorting troop convoys. In 1944, Kitakami took two torpedo hits from submarine HMS Templar. During repairs, the ship was converted into a Kaiten carrier. In 1945, the cruiser was damaged by Task Force 38 bombers and then used as a tender.

This battle is good example how good is this ship kitakami when played properly, regardless of what some famous youtubers of world of warships are saying.

in a cv match its a different story.

1. DDs are somehow in other side of the map and SS just go straight back to line AB (which is normal for 4501)
2. Enemies have no awarness and didn't try to find her when first one being trops
Any of the following will just make kitakami hard to play well in the game
1. DD/SS/CV give vision to the team on each side.., (7.9km is no that hard to search, imagine how can a khabarovsk or french DD run to your back without being spotted)
2. DD/SS/CV targeting her
3. Any radar ship stays behind island

More like the Kitakami couldn't have gotten better conditions. Non-CV match, no enemy DDs on their flank for some reason, enemy sub was submerged the entire time, no enemy radar (except maybe the Minotaur who very quickly ran away), the only enemy hybrid BB didn't bother looking for them ... if any one of those things was different the Kitakami would have had a much harder time.

About as well planned and played a game as I've seen in a long time. Got himself behind enemy spawn, reeked havoc there, 80% undetected with lots of health at the end when things got dirty. Thumbs up.
