- well this took way too long to actually make! in the past few Twitch Scraps I've been leaving Isaac out because the segments were gonna be so long that I figured I'd just make them their own videos. expect at least one more video like this as well as a couple edited videos of entire runs that went particularly funnily!
these clips are quite old and I can only chalk it up to procrastination. this video took like 2 hours to make I just needed to actually make it. go figure!

I got Dead God early last year and I’ve taken a massive break from Isaac since. I’ve been thinking about starting a new save file, but then I see the runs of Tainted Lost and Tainted Jacob in this video and instantly regret my decision.

@@TheGamerWhosBored after I got dead god I did a bunch of runs with modded characters which then lead to burnout. for me personally, revelations and fiend folio add TOO much to the game so i've only played them a handful of times.

i've started playing the game after watching you for a couple of months out of great curiosity and enjoyment
and in 18th of march, i managed to get dead god, and most of the dedication and enjoyment wouldnt have came without you; specially the tutorial on how to break the game, and watching you play will always make me go back and play the game myself to enjoy it time and time again :D

1:45 - When Daddy Longlegs does his stomp attack where the head is off-screen, the new legs are each coded as different Daddy Longlegs. This is why if you manage to do enough damage to kill one of them, the death animation will play, but the original Daddy will still be able to kill you to death

shout out to the time I unlocked dead god after discovering that in 542 hours of gameplay I had never ever once picked up missing no
I like to think that the repetition of running through the game over and over, as well as the intro, are supposed to be in some way canon to the lore of the game. My interpretation is that Isaac HAS been dead the whole game, is in purgatory the entire game, and that the beast ending represents Isaac breaking away from his purgatory and finding a way into a happier afterlife, breaking the purgatory cycle. Because, the pain is gone, and it doesn't have to be "Isaac and his mother anymore." There are no more personal demons left to fight. He can move on now, to a happier place, where he can live a happy and admittedly false life with his parents. Not his mother (or for some reason just his father); his parents, both of them, as if all of the pain and suffering had never happened.

it's a golden pill-- it chooses a random pill effect and lets you use it multiple times with a small chance of being consumed every time you use it
