The King's Academy, a National Blue Ribbon, Christian school in South Florida, recently presented "Ghost the Musical" on its main stage in the new Page Family Center for Performing Arts. Starring TKA junior Clay Hider (Sam Wheat), freshman Olivia Henley (Molly Jensen), senior Gigi Perez (Oda Mae Brown), senior Graham Popadic (Carl Brunner), and junior Kyle Martin (Will Neuman), this performance showcased TKA’s fine young talent.
TKA’s Conservatory of the Arts, a two-time American High School Theatre Festival award-winning fine arts program, is led by Mr. David Snyder (Artistic Director, Musical Theater, Department Chair), Mrs. Sonia Santiago (Vocal Arts), Mrs. Cathy Higgins (Dance- Ballet, Tap, Modern and Jazz), Miss Riselle Portuondo (Dance- Ballet and Modern), Miss Sarah Fahey (Theatre Arts), Mr. Brad Majzner (Stagecraft), Mr. David Skinner (Instrumental Director), Mr. Wes Lowe (Assistant Band Director), Mr. Patrick Clifford (Strings), Mrs. Macey Norton (Video/Digital Arts), Mrs. Laura McFaden (Visual Art), Miss Stephanie Revell (Elementary Choir, Woodwinds), and Mrs. Robin Phillips (Piano).

I can’t believe the quality of the production of this show and all the shows The Kings Academy produces! They are Broadway quality with talent that rivals Broadway professionals. Clay and Olivia have excellent voices and their acting skills rival those with much more experience then these two young people. Having worked at Disney in entertainment for the past twenty five years, I can honestly say this show and these two lead characters are just as good or better than the shows there! Excellent job TKA!
