I still distinctly remember that rowing commercial for Coffee Crisp (which spoofed the classic Queen song “Another One Bites the Dust”) even 40 years later.
The Caramilk "Secret" is Invertase. It turns the liquid filling into solid pellets, which are dropped into each pocket in the molded bar, which is lying face down. Then, the bar is sealed by adding the solid bottom. The pellet gradually turns liquid, over about 2 weeks.
Did you know that chocolate bars as you see in these commercials can be found in any concession stand at any movie theater along with a soda and a popcorn? That was back in those days where chocolate bars can be found in concessions stands.
In America there is the 3 musketeers in Britain there is the milky way which is the same thing In America there is the milky way in Britain there is the mars bar which is the same thing In America there is dove in Britain there is galaxy bar by the way which is the same thing
right , just modern at that time pop culture and the product to get your attention like the hip hop dancers you know the breakdancers, I forgot about it long ago, but I do remember seeing it a time or two on tv as I remember the breakdance craze as I had teenage cousins, loved as a kid they would not teach me to do, so when it came back to style in the late 90's and early 2000's guess what I learned to do, and still 20 years later still do off and on a few moves here and there a few times a day, I always liked to dance, went to many wedding receptions as a kid. and yea it was what it was but there was still some sense of reserve what was on tv or how it was talked about not everything was all out in the open, I mean yea short shorts but we did not make a big deal of it we just lived and let live and many tried to keep in shape for better or worse, with all the things for fitness, unhealthy expectations are not good, but neither is obesity and a seditary life. and I remeber the milk in the purse just barely, the three musketeers one yea I remeber the moving clouds but thought it was later along like 1986
They had professionals and top sports icons saying they grab a damn candy bar while they’re working out or at the end of a long day🤣🤣🤣 consumerism isn’t shit 🤣🤣🤣
It took me until the end of the m&m ad, for me to realize the blue ones weren’t one of the colours. Probably wasn’t too many years later before it was added. ~ Pffft. That’s the wrong way to eat a skor bar. Break into tiny pieces THEN open.
Wow. What a trip! The packaging! I was 7 years old again.
"It's that big chunk of fudge!" Hearing this for the first time in 35 years is a special treat.
Remember these when I was like 6 with dad!

Now I'm wondering which came first, that or Moose Beer.
This was awesome. Now can you do one with chocolate bar commercials from the 70s? 😃
I love that they were trying to advertise that chocolate bars were nutritious back in the 80s
Same!

The 3 Musketeers basketball ad looks like it was designed for and played on one of those local "community access" channels of the time
Wow, that was a FAST 10 minutes
Joe Leduc selling the big chunk of fudge!!!
Cool!😀 Now I am craving chocolate bars lol
Skor is like Laura Secord French Crisp.
Jack Creeley as the teacher in the Glossettes commercial.
Can we just appreciate that the floating basket ball guy in the 3 musketeers commercial is Barry, Rachel's ex from early Friends. 😂😂😂😂😂
I was born in ‘83. I don’t remember any of these commercials! The f’c
Most of them were Canadian Brands only

great stuff. think i saw Paul Bernardo as a student in that Glossettes one.
The 80's: before someone tainted the meaning of Snickers for me.
I can remember when Snickers was called Marathon
Yesterday, I saw something strange: Eatmore bars in my local Shoppers Drug Mart. Usually, I only see them in Dollaramas.
That Sweet Marie commercial would never fly today. "Sexy Schoolgirl" is the most popular sexual fantasy in the world.
Nice one, Dairy Milk, spoofing a scene from "10", right down to a voiceover mimicking Dudley Moore.
Never heard of some of these chocolate bars
Do you have any chocolotto commercials?
Damn I really wanna try coffee crisps
😎👍

In Britain, Snickers was Marathon until the 1980s.

Some of these may have been the 90s...

Neither were red ones for a long time, due to American hysteria about Red Dye #2 being carcinogenic.
came along in the 1990's 1995 actually
Would be nice if you CZcams editors would normalize the volume levels of these clips you combine into the video. Is that so hard?
