The people who run their mouths the most are usually the ones wish they could be in your position. African Americans in America, some, have a tendency of speaking on things they have no hands on experience with. Rwanda looks amazing!

I'm black British of Caribbean origin and I have to say that your video mirrored my experience of Rwanda when I visited in the summer. On the whole Rwandans are warm and helpful people and the place is simply beautiful with good infrastructure. However I did notice the following things which could be better:
1. Some instances of poor customer service, rudeness and sometimes unfriendlyness. (I'm not gonna mention everything that happened).
2. Assuming that black travellers are Nigerian and having a negative disposition towards people that look different to the locals.
3. English isn't as prevalent as I was led to believe prior to visiting. Which I don't have a problem with, but there were occasions where people would pretend they understood English just so they could have your custom or just coz they didn't want to say they couldn't. This had lead to disagreements or just general confusion
4. The food in restaurants was generally not very good and it could be difficult to find somewhere to eat (not in all places though)
5. Lack of available goods and services, for example, very little to buy in supermarkets, shelves empty etc and imported snacks/foods sometimes tasted off or were past their sell by date
I give all of this feedback coz what Rwanda do well, they do really well and there are more positives than negatives. I would definitely go back but those were some of what stood out in my mind

Yes when it comes to customer service sometimes in rwanda we can be slow you order something and it gets to you after hours and rwanda does not really have a supermarket culture just yet both of these things should be looked at for real i hope our goverment does work on that dont know bout the food though
They don't like Nigerians? Why?
I’m black expat living in Rwanda for a long time. Several things that you mentioned about Rwanda caught my attention because they are not true though I respect they could be your initial impressions.
You mentioned that Rwandans don’t like Nigerians: that is absolutely false. I have many Nigerian friends living in Rwanda and they were all shocked when I asked them if they ever had bad experiences in Rwanda or with Rwandan people.
For the services and restaurants, Rwandans may be slow for serving but not really rude. They are very calm and polite people and we do really appreciate that everyday.

The other not so good thing I noticed on a few occasions was locals trying to stop tourists from taking pictures and videos, or assuming that tourists are videoing you and confronting them because of personal superstitious beliefs.

I just wanted to share some friendly advice regarding your recent video where you mentioned your plans to visit Rwanda. As someone who is familiar with the country and its history, I can't help but express my concern. Rwanda has had a poor track record when it comes to freedom of speech, which affected my own experience when I last visited in 2006.
During my time there, I encountered a rather challenging situation that led me to cut my trip short. Unfortunately, the dictatorial regime in place fosters an environment where everyone feels compelled to spy on one another, and open conversations are greatly restricted. It's disheartening to see a few individuals who consider themselves superior and maintain their ignorance, even in dire circumstances.
I wanted to warn you about the potential risks involved in returning to Rwanda, especially since your video has garnered attention from people who may not have been aware of all the details you shared. It's important to note that those who have reached out to you are not ordinary citizens but rather members of the Secret Services. They are likely embarrassed by the exposure and may seek retribution.
Considering everything, I strongly advise you to explore other incredible destinations in Africa, where you can fully enjoy your travels without encountering similar challenges. I speak from personal experience as a young Rwandan fluent in the languages you mentioned in your video. Trust me, returning to Rwanda may not be the best decision for you right now.
Please take this comment as a sincere suggestion, and I wish you all the best in your future adventures across the beautiful continent of Africa!

I would encourage you to also put some effort in learning basic Swahili, it will make your journey in east Africa easy. Also use google translator if you want to communicate. It translates to Swahili very good. If you just typed I am looking for yellow fever vaccine and gave the person to read it, you would have saved a lot of time.
It's just people experience I move here and I invested money and brought a 4bed 4bath house and started two businesses and a guy in Rwanda show me everything for free so I'ma give everybody all the information how to get a residential permit and a business permit as well it's super easy and cheap
When I saw your video, I couldn't exactly relate with my immigration experience. Then again, I am actually learning the language and come from a city where staring is not uncommon. Could relate to the food part though xD.

Hi. I'm visiting Rwanda in February 2023. I'm going to be looking for multiple retail spaces available to open and build out multiple ice cream and dessert shops. Would there be a problem finding suppliers and wholesale food suppliers?
There could be. Most of the food is produced locally. There was an ice cream brand imported from Tanzania or Kenya, and it was expensive. Not sure if there are local suppliers in Rwanda.
The people are broke.
Don’t go back to Rwanda, not safe for you as you must have upset those authorities over there. The natives are not free to express themselves due to fear of the dictatorship government they have in place.
