    • @lylacrew1606
      @lylacrew1606  Před 3 lety +1

      I have to be honest with you. It is kinda hard to slide on a dighy. It’s possible by doing what I showed above, but it is difficult. I don’t have a dighy on me also so I can’t film a video on it either sadly. Also, the turbo dighy has some more grippy wheels, so that will make it even harder to slide.

    Hey mate, would you recommend the ATV perfecto for doing slides at moderate speeds? I want to get one so I can have a mix of street skating and a bit of lower speed freeriding on one board, or would you recommend a longboard? Is the perfecto also ok for Coleman slides? I am seriously considering buying a longboard with a large wheelbase and RKP trucks for a bit more stability after having a 52kmh crash on my dinghy a couple days ago. Thanks

    • @lylacrew1606
      @lylacrew1606  Před 4 lety

      George Herron I would definitely recommend having a street setup and a longboard setup and not combine them until you’re really comfortable. I have been sliding for years especially on street setups so it is pretty easy for me to get on the atv and do most of the things I do on my longboard, but I wouldn’t recommend it for a beginner. I would recommend getting a gordito or a side walker if you really want the kick tails but if you’re mainly focusing on downhill/freeride I love my cheesegrater and I think it can be a good board to start with.

    • @lylacrew1606
      @lylacrew1606  Před 2 lety +1

      It’s all personal preference. Tight trucks can make setup carving more difficult however. Loose trucks can make setup carving easier, but you’ll be less stable and it can be harder to kick out the slide because the board will grip more with the turn. I ride my trucks kinda in the middle but leaning on the tighter side!

      John From Pedro what’s the best type of board to slide on?

    • @lylacrew1606

      Personally I prefer a top mount board anywhere from 35in to 37in with concave that locks you in well and a stiff construction such as the Landyachtz cheesegrater or Osteon observer. Another good choice is a drop board like the switchblade because you’re standing lower to the ground making it kick out easier👌🏻
