Thank you for posting this - I’ve managed to replace my broken brush cap with a compatible spare from eBay - I needed a video to show me I was doing it right but just needed to push a bit harder to force it into position. In case it helps anyone else, the inner ring had sheared off with the pressure of tangled hair around it, and I needed to dig it out with a small screwdriver. Thanks!

Hi I've followed all these steps but the brushes still won't spin 😭 is it just broken then?

Maybe, can you hear the motor? Have you turned off the motor using the button up on top? on some machines the brush will only spin if the machine is tilted back for sweeping.
