- Former Clear Creek County Sheriff's Deputy Andrew Buen will be retried on two charges in connection with the shooting of Christian Glass after a jury failed to reach a decision on second-degree murder or misconduct.
Murderer. Any reasonable person who saw the video knows it.
Glass mixed recreational and prescription drugs with alcohol and went for a drive. He crashed his own car, and called 911, himself. He refused police commands for an hour, ignoring three different officers who attempted to, very calmly, talk him into leaving the vehicle. When cops decided to forcibly remove him from the vehicle, he swung a knife at one of them. This is all 100% irrefutable.
Obviously, these "hang-em-high" jurors had their own biases: they wanted the cop buried in less than 30 minutes. The holdout isn't there to consider if Glass was "her own child". Englekirk basically admits that Glass attacked a cop with a knife, and his life was in danger, through the 9 News interview when she talks about her own methods of trying to convince the holdout juror.
