In one of the later episodes Iain says that there are 11 million people playing the game at one time. That means while the shop was free, he gave away several million dollars worth of items. Now I’m not saying that he should’ve been fired (because I love him) but they should’ve at least nerfed him
This show shows how players think game dev works, not how it actually works: there's episode where they have problem (one with nazi I think?), think of feature to repair it (in their opinion), implement it, promote and people use it massively and it's implied to happen all in 1 day: it's not about realism in company

He also may have done something when he made the shop free to prevent them from actually loosing money by preventing people from keeping the items or something because he does love money more than anyone.
I would love to see a crossover where Abed and Brad are forced to work together for whatever reason and the entire time they're hating each other, but at the end they realise each other's values while still hating each other and Brad says to Abed "I see your value now" like what Jeff said in episode 1 of Community
