Hallberg-Rassy 48 Mk II sailing Markermeer & IJsselmeer April 2022

One of our first sailing trips of this season in April 2022 on our new sailing yacht.
If we can sail, we are on board when we can.
Aboard Windfinder, our Hallberg-Rassy 48 Mk II with hull number 81. She is built in 2016.
After a long "sail-less" winter season, we can finally sail again. How we have missed this.
On the video clip, 10 minutes of relaxed sailing on the Markermeer / IJsselmeer. Sometimes a whole day, or several days, of sailing looks like this to us.
We like to take you with us. We love to share this piece of our life with you. Thank you for still following us, after a long season of no sailing.

Dat het prima schepen zijn daar hoef je geen expert voor te zijn om dit te zien.waar je ook je oog laat rusten kwaliteit .niet voor iedereen, maar nu met zo'n filmpje kunnen we er allemaal plezier van hebben. Bedankt en een behouden vaart met veel zw windje.

Congratulations on a stylish and calming video. Great that you haven't fallen into the trap of many self-important amateur sailors on CZcams. Many of them believe their views about sailing, boats, and themselves are so important for the world to hear, that they spend an entire video talking over great pictures. Your video shows a quiet confidence that I and many other sailing followers on CZcams really enjoy. Keep up the good work and you now have a new subscriber, a life-time sailor who knows he doesn't have all the answers.

Thank you Dennis. This CZcams thing is just a hobby and a really nice way to share some of our love for sailing with our sail yacht. And personally, I really like watching our previous adventures. Great moments kept alive on YT for anyone to watch.
About windspeed or more information.
Sometimes I just forget to film or forget the speed or how strong the wind was. But will try and think about it next time. 🙋🏽‍♀️

Dennis has a point, but to be honest it would have been interesting to know something about the route, the wind speed, the boat speed - in fact any information at all.

I will try and think about it the next time. These YT clips are just a hobby. Sometimes I just forget to film or forget what the exact windspeed was.

I was watching the video, and thinking the same thing. Then I read your comment and immediately thought of my own videos as im beyond the other end of the scale. My next thought was perhaps i could learn something from these guys and shut up more.
But tay sure captured som nice video of a beautiful vessel and some magnificent sailing.

Vind je het verschil qua snelheid met de 43 groot?

Hoi Erik, qua snelheid is de 48 zeker sneller. Vooral op langere tochten merken we dat. Echter de 43 was ook zo snel. Zouden we nu weer een tocht op de 43 maken, dan zouden we het pas echt merken.
