As a woman, I have to say that I tend to share Dongin's thoughts about women sexualizing themselves. I think it's important to be careful with this issue because some women are actually conditioned (sometimes by men) to think that their worth is in their bodies and sexuality. So when some women show cleavage, it may *seem* like they're empowered and making the choice independently when in reality, there is a lot of patriarchal/ low self-esteem baggage that is contributing to their decision. :( Not always, but sometimes.
Although yes, we want women to have freedom, we also don't want to encourage an overly sexualized society where women or men are getting too much worth through bearing it all in front of everyone--that's just my two cents on it.
Last thought: some of those girls did look underage in these TikToks, and it also made me pretty uncomfortable.
Empowerment--yes. Sexualization of minors in media--100% never, no. Not even if they think they want it, because they simply are not old enough to make that mature decision. Their time will come.
