  • The goal of this Wild Hearthstone Hero Power Mage OTK combo deck is to use Sing-Along Buddy combined with Reckless Apprentice! We do this by increasing the damage of our Hero Power. Then, we play Brann, Sing-Along Budd, and Reckless Apprentice for the OTK! Super fun meme deck! Good luck!

      Because the entire battlecry had to resolve first, your opponent was dead before anything on the field "died" as such, the deathrattle never triggered because your opponent was dead, and no more effects could resolve.

    Reckless Apprentice's Battlecry is still in the process of resolving, so Deathrattle's haven't resolved yet even though the creatures have been marked as dead.
    After the battlecry finishes, the game sees your opponent at 0 health, so it ends the game before proceeding to the next step (resolving death triggers).

    • @locogato3488

    alright deck intro time, and this time... it came to me in a dream.
    so for this deck, we'll start off by playing deepminer brann, then ysera the dreamer to get two nightmares. then, on the combo turn, we'll play a windfury minion, give it charge and play both of our nightmares on it for the OTK!™
    so that's it for the deck intro this time guys, hope you like the dream scenario, and thanks for watching!

    Simultaneous for us, but the game went through its checklist first and checking for the hero's health must come before deathrattles. So he lost, and the knights continued dying during the victory screen. Like when they concede and if you play something fast enough, it'll still come onto the board even tho the game is over.

    • @locogato3488

    • @locogato3488
      @locogato3488 Před měsícem +2

      My guess is that it happened because the Priest was the first target, so it died before the others and ended the game, and the Deathrattles couldn't do anything because the game was already over.

    Deathrattles trigger after cards are destroyed. The hero was fatally damaged and marked for destruction in the same stage the minions died, so that resolved before moving to what happens after.

    Explanation of winning instead of tie. Tie in hearthstone can happen only if both players die in same death check. Death check happen quite often, but usually death check does not interrupt card's action, so there is no death check between battlecries. Hearthstone don't need to check between them. But for example defile need death check, so all deathrattles happens in defile's action. In this case Tyrande dies at the same time as deathriders, so Dawngrasp would die only the next death check, but there is no one, since game already ended

      @colbyallman Před 26 dny

      Deathrattles operate essentially "after" a minion dies. I'm not entirely sure, but I think if deathrattles operated as "whenever" a minion dies, then they would go off before the second battlecry. Not sure if anything is allowed to happen in between though since Brann is an aura, not an additional step.
