Heck yea brother, I think it's a trade off. The hours you spend streaming can easily be relatable to hours I spend researching and scripting videos. I think that's why I have always struggled to maintain a stream schedule because I spend so many hours focusing on other things

oh my goodness Seth, 5 years ago it used to be about 12 hours or more when I was still learning the process. Shortcuts! Highly recommend every edit you make in case you want to use the same edit in a different project
I can relate to this on so many levels. All of my content nowadays is scripted and giving the best info. the editing is usually the long part. Presets have been a godsend for me when it comes to editing in premiere

Jo, this was a very different video, thanks for showing the backstage process. U are the reason I started playing clash properly, before I used to spend my resources and magic items very inefficiently, but after I found your channel I started progressing in a smooth and efficient manner thanks to your dope tips. U are the reason im still enjoying clash of clans to this day, having played it for more than 8 or 9 years (idk its been so long😂). It is THE ONLY game I have on my phone and I can't seem to enjoy any other game tbh. Peace and take care bro 👊

I haven't stopped playing Clash...but making the same content on the same topics has become a struggle. The game has not changed that drastically over the years to maintain my interests. We will see though

I didn't plan on abandoning uploading. I would just like to make other stuff outside gaming. I know that most viewers on my channel only care for Clash of Clans, but I DO NOT want my life to be defined by a mobile game. I have far more to offer viewers than just how to play a game.

I’m just gonna say, idk how you do long days editing your videos in that secret lab chair. I’m looking for a chair myself now and I hear a lot that ergonomic chairs have alot better lumbar/back support compared to gaming chairs and that generally, gaming chairs force you into a position which you can’t readjust and rather have to slouch, creating bad habits. Just food for thought Jo! Appreciate what you do
I've actually used MANY different chairs over the years. The Secret Lab chair is stiffer than most, yes. But it has held up very nicely over the last few years and it doesn't bother me much. I think it's a personal preference thing when it comes to chairs.

I saw your post on Reddit. Not sure how people came to that conclusion. I was only speaking my mind in that video and sharing things that were going on in my personal life. I know I mentioned at the end that I wanted to make a change, yes. But what that change is right now is not fully determined. I love Clash of Clans, but I also know it is SHORT Lived. I've played and forgotten countless games over the years, and Clash of Clans will be another one in the years to come. So I would like to work on other things and stop being so one sided when I have far more skills than just being a gamer.

I stream from time to time....I would have thought that showing this process would show why I do not stream often. If I stream, then I take away from making videos. Besides, streaming Clash of Clans is not that entertaining to me. The game itself is a bit too repetitive for me after creating content for the last 5 years

No man, you don't have to.... Don't fall into that trap.... Everything is fine, even if it's not perfect. We love your content and maybe sometimes it isn't that perfect. But your viewers will enjoy your work anyways....

I just screen record on the iPad for individual clips. If I am putting everything (camera, game, overlay) in OBS, that requires the use of a capture card - I have the El Gato 4K60 Pro for that

I'm mean you can still upload stuff, you just have to be realistic on what the products will look like. To elevate your content, you would have to be willing to invest both time and money to create a high end product. Hope that makes sense

How about trying to also make videos about other games that you love playing? Sort of like a let’s play but still making some clash of clans video to avoid being burnt out. I would love to watch any videos you make!
it's been a thought for a while, idk what direction I want to go. I have so many other interests outside of games. It's crazy to think I have invested so much time on one aspect of my life.
i rly dont know how exactly ur content situation is but maybe try a f2p series starting from the tutorial (not th7 like before) and see how fast progress is now after so many reductions in time and costs.
but it's literally the same thing, whether it was started at TH7 in 2019 or starting a brand new account in 2024. How would a little bit of time and cost reductions make a difference? He would be playing thru all the same things he did back then minus the change on hero abilities
I honestly do not think I can endure playing this game F2P from the beginning again. It's really hard to replicate the same enthusiasm I had for the game that I had in 2019-2020. If I were to go this route, people will clearly see I am not having fun because it would literally be me doing the same things I've done in the past.
