- West Kingston residents are allowed to look through photographs of bodies, facilitating the identification process. Persons died during clashes when security personnel went into Tivoli Gardens, Kingston to remove blockades, restore order and arrest Christopher "Dudus" Coke.

What about the soldier and police who gave their lives for JAMAICA? They should be commended and praised, they have made the ultimate sacrifice for Jamaica Land We Love!
How can anyone who has the breath of God in them not feel the pain of what these people went through! I am your American sista and when you hurt, I hurt!

This is so sad. How we can do this to our own people is just sad. Anyway, if there is one thing we must understand and that is those men or children whose bodies were dead, they are still alive somewhere. We live on after our bodies are dead.
we all have to remember no matter how poor no matter what the people that died are human beings and as a jamaican myself no matter where my fellow jamaicans are from in jamaica out of many one people and we are all one. Not even animal they should have treated like that, the point is they went in there for this duddus guy and other gunmen they should have really done their job and get the gunmen and duddus leave the innocent people and their families alone.

@ilazai - the real fact is, if these ppl had left their homes and all their belongings, would you have taken them in and fed and clothed them? I dont think so! FACT is where could they have gone, what choice did they have, alot of the dead were not GUNMEN, just citizens of THE LAND YOU LOVE!!! Nor are they recruits of the forces who signed up for the possibility of death. With the number of so-called military weaponary FOUND down TG, surely the ratio of forces dead would be a lot higher.

@MsEmporess- What proof do we have that they were not gunmen? As far as I am concerned, they as as much or equal evidence to say that they were gun men compared to the evidence that they were not gunmen. Were they testing testing the victims for gun powder residue? On the other hand, I am sure that there was some collateral damage.

Creaper435 what that lady said about her house being burned down, this was in the 80's, do your research and try to see thing from someone elses perspective, not by party affiliation, political agenda, or just hate because they are from an area that you don't like. what if this was your neighborhood and this happened to your family and friends, would that have made it the truth? When the defenders of Dudus shot the 14 police stations burning two to the ground nobody said nothing when they killed the two innocent policemen for simply moving road blocks nobody said nothing .When the men from Tivoli killed the innocent solder completly blowing off his head for just simply providing safe passage nobody said nothing now the security forces retilated now everyone are saying how the security forces are wicked
