You can get a canopy that fits over the rear door when lifted, has sides on it, be handy when cooking if it's raining

Sean if your heading through the Mont Blanc Tunnel don't forget you have to stop a few km before you hit the tunnel to get your ticket . Last time i went through the Mont Blanc Tunnel in my truck it was about 250 euros and when i got to the tunnel i got stopped by the cops they searched my truck and i was unaware some of the boxes i was carrying down to Genoa were fake football shirt copies. So i spent 2 nights in prison while the customs went through the 800 boxes on my truck what a experience it was but the cops were brilliant with me they brought my food let me watch TV . SO DONT TAKE ANY DODGY STUFF HA HA. KEEP SAFE
Good way to save the pounds while traveling. Good petrol mileage on the small car. No happy ending until the tent is setup. Good idea being up off the ground.

.. You need to fix the ladder to the underside of the frame...... It's the ladder you use to raise the tent into position.... The ladder stays connected,.

Happy travels matey currently abroad myself but as always I never try to miss a show. That tent looks good going to look into that when I get back.

Good day buddy, lift the bottom of back seat up and fold the back bit of seat down, will give you lots of more space, even get a little bit of plyboard on the floor and can cook in the boot with the boot lid up keep the rain or wind off you, looks great and makes nice shelter for when your out having a beer 🍺 or two enjoy

Sean could you not attach the ladder first then use that to open the tent across the car ?
Just bought one, Sean. The tent doesn't come with outside straps for the rain cover anymore because they rub and wear the material. Tentbox does some elastic type cords for that now. The orange cords are to go around two tyres to stabilise the wind movement, not for tying down the rain cover. Hope this helps, cocker. Rockon.

@thedeadhorse Also, Sean. I've got a Honda Civic Hatchback 2012 I've converted to sleep in as well as the Tentbox. My solid roof is weighted at 60kg and the Tentbox Lite is 50kg so is fine with my motor, but with a Sunroof it dramatically weakens the strength of the roof. Check it out! Hope Yr tour goes well bud, will be tuned in and watching. My Mums just gone into a home so after 4 years of looking after her I now have abit of freedom to go explore. Cheers Cocker!

I think that ladder likely has big springs inside it so when you climb up into the tent , your weight pushes down and basically holds it steady. I reckon having it straight up and down seems the best way rather than on the angle. Things are getting very exciting and I look forward to more videos of the journey ahead.
Get a big “vlogging a dead horse” sticker to put over the tent box name. Sean

To be honest i would of got a camping tent trailer ....
guy I know has a pop up camper where a small flat screen folds down from the ceiling when you open it...towards the front. Very nice setup.

try the App:Park 4 the night,,,parking for sleeping one or more nights,,shows places all over eurpa,with details,ideal for the campervan movement,usualy for se zero euro,,eins zwei drei and of you go ....funny man,,,,,,when on the way some camping cooking stuff is missing s,stop over at the giant :Obelink near the german border,,they have all sort of camping gear in the size of ikea,,,greetings from se germans,,,,,,,happy travell to to.....
Fiesta now does max 37mph and 14 mpg lol! I think a black tent cover is going to get melting-hot in the med in summer...

Brilliant this, orange guy ropes are for when you are erect sir, for your front entrance. Great bit of kit but youd think it would come with a halfpipe or similar to stick on the front for aerodynamics as this is gonna create a lot of drag making it less fuel efficient. A good addition here would be a light weight white tarp to sling over the top during days where youve got the tent up during hot sunny to help days to keep it cool!
When first saw the box thought it was a huge telly. Once assembled wicked, what a great idea, its going to be awesome man.
