I know Shamy is the more popular couple, and for good reason, but Leonny brings me to tears. Cuoco and Galecki have amazing on-screen chemistry, which made up for the obvious flaws in their relationship.
shamy was not the more popular couple - the whole 12 seasons were about penny and leonard- amy and bernedette were not on the show until season 4

I may be a male that's 25, but I am a Hopeless romantic, I love it when couples are compassionate, caring and loving towards each other like this. This, is True Love. This, is what relationship's are meant to be like.

Leonard has loved Penny since the first episode, he cares for her and he wants her to do big things with her life. He has supported her through it all and he was there for her whenever she needed a shoulder ... I always thought he was the better half of this relationship and this edit proves that.

Half? he probably did 90% of the romance and she only provided him sex. Even in the later seasons, she took him for granted and said he wasnt grateful. I was happy they fixed it however it still pains me thinking she isn't grateful for the fact he gave her everything

Besides, you can’t say that someone is 90% better in a relationship, I don't think that's grammatically correct. What you do say in such a case is that a person is the better half of a relationship or the better of the two.
However, we shouldn’t ignore the things Penny did for Leonard and how she was being treated in the relationship, it should be noted that Penny also gave Leonard so much more confidence, and her ability to handle sheldon was a plus. Penny was like the social butterfly in the group, she also took care of the boys whenever they needed someone (as seen in the episode where she spoke up against their internet bully). Before Penny, Raj couldn’t speak to girls, she introduced Bernadette to Howard and Penny was the one who took emotionally care of Sheldon (he even hugged her which is a big thing for Sheldon).
Penny is labeled as the “dumb blond” girl and this is so stereotypical, Penny wasn’t dumb she just wasn’t as smart as the gang she was hanging out with. But is this something she should have been judged by? No! But did Leonard give her that feeling when they were dating? Yes, as mentioned by Penny in one of the episodes.
You say Leonard gives a lot and that s#x is all that Penny has to offer when that is really all that Leonard sees in Penny. Leonard has always been in love with her looks. She was attractive and served as a status for him to show off (as seen in one of the episodes where he uses her looks to get support aka money for his project). Also let't not forget that Penny never cheated on Leonard, while he cheated on Penny when he went on that ship. Penny is definitely flawed as a character, but she is loyal to the ones she loves.
What I want to say is that while I favor Leonard in this relationship, it shouldn’t mean we should ignore Penny’s importance.
We all are flawed in our own ways and no one is perfect but that is what makes us human. That is what we mean when we say that someone completes us. ✨
@@ger0nimoproductions I also didn’t mention the boys once. It was only Leonard I mentioned so I don’t understand the need for you to include Raj, Howard and Sheldon. Also, most of the times Sheldon and Leonard fight over something, Penny always took Sheldon’s side. For example when they were arguing about the quarterly meeting, Penny took his side and you can agree with Leonard on this one because it was a nonsensical discussion. She gave him confidence but also the pressure of someone else stealing her. You can see this in many episodes when she doesn’t say “I love you” and when she keeps coming to Leonard’s apartment after they broke up even when Priya wanted her to go away. I also wanted to state that the 90% is an exaggeration but Leonard was at least at 70% of the relationship.
I love how this sitcom shows daily life problems and how to overcome them, how we can be average looking and still find TRUE LOVE

Lenny never got as much love as Shamy from the writers but 80% of us watched the show for them and nothing can change that.
Even in the later seasons when Leonard's character development was dead and Penny was written as a mean jerk, their chemistry was on point.

The biggest mistake TBBT made was Priya. It was just wrong. Penny and Leonard are just right together.
Who knew a great love story was hiding in one of the best comedies ever on TV. In the shows a lot of times the feelings did not show through, but your video showed the true emotions, I think a lot of it was because they really dated and I think deep down they do really love each other, lets be honest neither are that good at acting LOL. They are a great couple even if they are not together in real life I bet they still have a deep connection.

Ellos son La Pareja de la Serie, su historia de amor es la mas profunda y significativa, y aunque parezca a primera vista que no tienen nada en común, lo realmente importante son los factores internos y no los externos de una pareja, Leonard y Penny no tienen cosas superficiales en común, pero en la forma de ser son las mas parecidos porque son los mas maduros a nivel emocional, son como los hermanos mayores del grupo, además de sus padres. La relación de Howard y Bernadette es desequilibrada porque ella tiene mas poder en la relación que el, Amy y Sheldon funcionan muy bien cuando se trata de ciencia pero a nivel emocional ella es muchísimo mas madura que el y de lejos y cuando entran las emociones en juego es cuando se vuelven la pareja mas inestable, por otro lado Leonard y Penny son la pareja con mas equilibrio de la serie porque esta conformada por dos iguales, y su historia muestra, da igual que sean hegemónicamente guapo o no, da igual todo esto, porque al final del día todos somos personas. Y tanto Leonard como Penny se han sentido maltratados e utilizados, el por parte de su madre y ella por hombres que solo la querían por su cuerpo, puede que sean diferentes formas de sufrimiento, pero es el mismo sentimiento de dolor, solo que de diferente manera...
