- The third and final part of a multi-day ADV motorcycle trip through the Victorian High Country where I test the new Continental TKC80 off-road tyres both on and off road, get lost in the woods, and have plenty of near misses with the local fauna.
This part includes the Great Alpine Road, Hotham Heights, Kosciusko National Park and the Alpine National Park.
Fantastic series pal, looks epic and shows a great bike being used properly.
Thank you!
Thank you for the lovely footage, and I really enjoyed watching 👏 take care and stay upright 😂
Thanks for the nice comment. So far still upright! New video coming out on Saturday.
You have done the best riding in the alps in Australia.
Can't recommend it highly enough, I might do the whole Great Alpine Road on road tyres next summer.
Looked a great ride,thanks.
Cheers mate
We are ordering my wife's Tiger 900 Rally Aragon Edition this week. She is excited.
Very cool, it looks good. They don’t have a price for the Aragon in Australian yet, is it more than the standard Rally Pro where you are?
@@australianadv Same price. In fact Triumph Cape Town has a special on for all Tiger 900s this month, and the salesman said I can have the Aragon for the same price, which is R245, including a set of Barkbusters. BTW, the Yamaha T700 retails for R220 here.
Excellent video mate, keep them coming !
Thanks, will do!
Great pictures, I am impressed and excited, please keep it up. Greetings from the other side of the world.👍🏻😀😎
Thanks Kurt, glad you enjoyed
Great series of your trip. As a new 900RP owner its great to see how capable the bike is and thanks for sharing it.
Glad you liked it, it’s one of the best trips I’ve done.
Thanks for your videos, have been enjoying your content. I'm living in Nelson NZ and hopefully will have enough money to buy a new Tiger 900 Pro in August. I retire next year and will be living in Brazil for a year or two with my partner at her house in Curitiba. We'll buy a bike there for the duration and do some touring in Sth America but when we get back the plan is to ship the Tiger to Australia and stay with my sister at Comboyne near Port Macquarie. So have been checking out videos of great rides in Australia. I remember seeing that power station and travelling that road when my sister lived just east of Cooma. I've been to Bright on a paragliding trip and definitely keen to explore the area some more.
Look forward to seeing more of your videos, thanks again.
Wow that would be a whole different world, riding in Brazil. I hope to do that some day.
Great video.
Thanks!
Glad you liked it
Was doewn at Jindabyne in January. There are so many great roads there.
The Jindy Inn is awesome. Anther nice spot is Troldhaugen lodge. The views from the common room are amazing.
Good tip, thanks. I'll give Troldhaugen a try next time. Lots of good riding around there so will definitely be back
Thanks for sharing this trip with us. Enjoyed it a lot. I watch 99% of CZcams on my 65" TV. You know Ive enjoyed it when I go back to my Computer to comment. Keep em coming. 👍👍
Cheers mate
Great series , I’m looking at an adventure bike a you had some great info for me to think about.
Thanks mate, glad it was useful
I've done that trip a few times and it's my favourite to date. Thanks for sharing your Motorcycle Adventure and I look forward to whatever you do on the Triumph Tiger 900 Rally Pro next. A marvellous Motorcycle for what you've done on this Victorian High Country trip. 👍😁
Thank you for the comment, appreciate it. The bike is great for this sort of thing, long highway miles plus offroading.
love your vid. Give me the will to flight over there, rent a Tiger900 and ride. Thank you.
Glad you enjoyed it.
Cheers for these vids, dude. Always great to see the world through someone else's eyes, and these do the do.
My RP should arrive on the boat at the end of the month. One thing I need to do soon after is invest in a few cameras and make something similar from the Falklands. Love how your mapping gives scale to the whole trip and (if you don't mind), I'd like to use that here. The Falklands are nowhere near the scale of Oz but it'll certainly give peeps out there, a better idea of what the place is about.
Cheers again. Looking forward to the next from you.
🍻 🍻
Go for it, and I'll keep an eye out for the Falkland Island vids. Would love to see that part of the world.
Would've been a wicked good trip. I can't wait to take one myself. Havent figured out where I'd go from northern rivers nsw yet. Maybe qld border in the mountains.
Thanks mate, glad you're enjoying it. I've got a few good trips planned so hopefully some more vids coming soon.
It's a good place to be based though, gotta be some good rides around Styx river, Bellingen, Guy Fawkes River Nat Park. Dangar Falls is a good destination, not sure what the riding is like.
Thanks for those videos. Excellent work. Also thanks for mentioning which tyres you ran, I was going to ask. Will you be switching back to street tyres once your home or leaving the Contis on?
Thanks again
I reckon I'll leave the Contis on for a few more shorter trips to the bush, plus they make the bike look like a weapon compared to the road tyres :-)
