SUCH great recs! Thank you for the video!
You're so welcome! Thank you for watching 💜💜
Thank you for taking the time to do this video. To help people like me that love these type of games but have no clue where to start looking for them. I LOVE my steam deck and I will be 50 this year lol never too old to enjoy gaming. ❤️
This is the sweetest! Thank you for your kind words.
I LOVEEE my steam deck. And always prefer to play my games on it. I’ll have to do a updated version with all the newer games as well soon 💜
@@LochVaness I’ll be here for it when you do!!! ❤️
This is a mood! I ordered a steam deck and tomorrow it will arrive. It's a refurbished one from back market, so I hope it works well. But I didn't want to wait for 1.6 of stardew on my switch. Plus, modding! I'm excited and I want to play!
How exciting! I hope you enjoy it. There are tons of videos on modding for Stardew!! I adore the aesthetic mods so much. 🥰
I’ve heard of most of these games but never actually checked them out, thinking that they weren’t for me - thanks for covering these titles I now realise how wrong I was!!! Wishlist wishlist wishlist!
Thank you!! And these have been some of my favorites for a while. I’ve been trying to branch out more. 😂
Such great recommendations! I want a Steam Deck so badly! One day... one day
It’s so worth it I feel. I hate buying things on steam and then to go to the switch to buy again. It’s all in one place. It’s nice
The eat them right up hahaha put that on a tshirt! Great video, ya the steam deck for Stardew was so nice and made it possible to finally 100% the game
Yes! I just got into modding Stardew on the Steam deck! So now it can be aesthetic and functional too
@@LochVaness hold the phone... I didn't try the modding from steam deck yet 😳😳😳
Do it!!! It’s not too bad! If you need help message me 😊
@@LochVaness yayyy sounds good
OOOohhhhh! I have not heard of Sable before! Looks interesting. The Steam deck does seem like a good purchase to keep your game play going!
It really is! It’s helped me game more outside of streaming and making content. Which I really needed.
Sable is really cool. Sometimes the world feels bare but the point is to explore new areas and what not.
@@LochVaness That's good to hear you are getting "YOUR" game time in and not "content" game time :)
1. Valve needs to improve the unsupported category - there is a handful of games which work with no issues marked as unsupported
2. If one do not mind or even better likes tinkering games outside Steam work just fine (in some cases they are also DRM Free and launchers are only needed to download them, some do not work fully with Valves Proton and might require Proton-GE (which is easy to install).
3. This is a PC hardware so some setting changing will always be beneficial (in game graphical settings and power settings from quick settings overlay)
4. From games I would personally rate as great on deck which are smaller ones: baba is you, Lego builder’s journey, cloud gardens this are games where you can jump complete a level or a few.
They need to update it more for sure. I get nervous doing all the different protons and stuff and have been still learning all that.
@@LochVaness there is a ton of guides. And also it is quite easy to flash the clean OS if something gets messed up.
But for majority games I tried it was just changing the proton to experimental which is already on deck
A bit of tinkering to install games outside Steam and add them as none Steam games but as I said there a guides for it.
You a prior coastie? I saw that shirt!
my husband is in! I'm always here supporting. 💜
@@LochVaness Ayy! Bringing my steam deck for underway lol
Let’s goo! Thank you for your service! What games do you plan on playing?
@@LochVaness Stardew Valley is always on rotation, but I want to beat Doom eternal and Persona 3 Reload for sure. And maybe some metroidvanias and Chrono trigger? 🤔
*resist urge to buy steam deck*
😂😂 I play this so much more than my switch. Steam in your lap! How nice 🥰
I had a very limited experience with handhelds. I was not sure I will like the deck.
My laptop is really old I was searching for a new one damn a bit powerful ones are expensive as hell.
I watched a lot of information and went with the deck.
What I got is Linux PC which with dock + mouse and keyboard and external display (I already owned) replaced my laptop.
And of top of that it is nice portable device to play games from my ever growing backlog.
I went with 512GB OLED model and based on the few months I’m using it it was worth it.
Keep in mind, Unplayable is not a perfect label. Splinter Cell Chaos Theory is "unsupported," yet ran flawlessly on my deck. A few controls needed to be messed around with but otherwise it ran fine.
Definitely! Sometimes even myself gets nervous to attempt certain games that are unsupported so I tried to keep some that are fairly simple to get started with.
There’s a few games I’ve played that have been unsupported as well that run amazing. 😂
