    Light definitely has the potential to become the best Fox.

    Third consecutive tournament Nairo wins in a row, he is such a monster.
    He is definitively #1 in the world or #2 if we count ZeRo.

    • @grantdong7746
      @grantdong7746 Před 6 lety +18

      Yes, I agree. But I think Mkleo, dabuz, and Tweek have a fair chance to make competition for Nairo as well for #1.

    • @stormpetrel6750
      @stormpetrel6750 Před 6 lety +1

      This year he is #1, given that zero stopped playing.

    • @ryngtolu4334
      @ryngtolu4334 Před 6 lety

      Well. He stopped playing at tournaments, not stop playing at all. Of course tournaments is the best way to pratice because you fight against the best players and with no wifi limits, but this doesn't mean he forgot all the experience he had those years.
      Right now is almost impossible to say if Nairo is better than ZeRo. We need to see a match between the 2.
      But when ZeRo retired, he was the best, and had an advantage in skill over everyone. We don't know if Nairo closed the gap of months ago. It's possible.
      So in short: Nairo may be the best right now but can't be sure about that.

    • @grantdong7746
      @grantdong7746 Před 6 lety +2

      Ryng Tolu If anything, there was no closure between Zero and Mkleo's rivalry(if we view Zero as the fated best player), as in their four most recent sets, MKleo has been consistently beating Zero.

    • @ryngtolu4334
      @ryngtolu4334 Před 6 lety

      Eh, Nairo too there was a time when he beat ZeRo 3 times in a row, first time at Dreamhack and then double eliminated him at Smash Con.
      I know Leo beat ZeRo the last times they played but with the overall scores and mostly just because of how good and consistent ZeRo is, i feel like he would have figured him out if he didn't stop playing at tournaments.
      We also saw Zinoto beating him solidly with Meta Knight, and like, if a player like Zinoto (a very good player but just nowhere as good as a TOP 3 player) was able to beat him... i really don't see how ZeRo wouldn't adapt again.
      I just think he is the best.

      So because he taunts that makes him a FG player? He’s a top 3 Fox. I love when people like you get triggered over people who taunt. It’s part of the game. Get over it.

    • @BabyCalisthenics
      @BabyCalisthenics Před 6 lety +5

      AlejandroRodriguezP Ask Light's shitty inwards DI lmao. ZSS has a weird hotbox at the beginning of her up-b. If you land it, she'll never connect the last hit but will pop you up. Light kept doing moderate DI, and Nairo kept landing it.
      Light this whole tourney was 90:10 for offense and defense. The moment Nairo got the openings and stopped being overwhelmed, Light got himself in a bind.

    The race for #1 continues and Nairo has taken the lead. After him is Leo and Dabuz, then a small gap, with Tweek and Mistake.

    • @grantdong7746
      @grantdong7746 Před 6 lety +9

      Yeah, and Nairo probably could have taken Genesis 5 if it wasn't for the janky bayo combo from Mistake.

    • @EJJTheMiner
      @EJJTheMiner Před 6 lety +1

      You mean if Nairo SDId down on WT1 so he wouldn’t have died to anything

    • @grantdong7746
      @grantdong7746 Před 6 lety

      EJJTM Oh, I fully agree Nairo died because of his own SDI, but I don't blame the mistake he made there, as a viable option was also to SDI up out of the combo. the whole situation occurred because of the weird nature of bayo and that he got the deadly one hit witch twist.

    • @EJJTheMiner
      @EJJTheMiner Před 6 lety +1

      That wasn't the one hit. The one hit refers to the first hitbox of WT1 and WT2 at the bottom which sends you at a set knockback. Nairo flew out of WT2 because of his own DI.
      If he had SDI'd down and away on WT1 then he wouldn't have been fair chained or died off the top.

    • @grantdong7746
      @grantdong7746 Před 6 lety

      EJJTM It was an error that would only be deadly because of bayo, but I digress. I think nairo would have definitely taken Genesis 5 if he was able to close out Mistake's last stock.
