Alexandros Taverna, Roda,Corfu, Greek Night

An evening spent at Alexandros Taverna on Roda seafront, They had the first Greek Night of the season, and I have to say the food was brilliant, (and cheap), also the wine was better than most.

Hi Paul, You know I do not recomend any one place over another, If I can not say something nice I say nothing at all, , My wife and I drink and eat here because as you say they are truly nice LOCAL people,, I have the problem I am getting old and cannot patronise every bar I like on a regular basis, piss head though I am, but I do creep here as often as I can.. I get a lot of pleasure from meeting subscribers to my site and to keep it simple I think every one knows I go to Oscars, BUT trust me this place is a bloody close second. See you in Sept. Al

If one has nothing positive to say about such places, then folks should keep quiet. They have enough to struggle with, higher tax etc.... It is always a pleasure to meet someone else, who is reading from the same page, with the same attitude towards Corfu and you have the greater advantage, of living on the island since 1989 :-)

Hi Moose, Thanks for watching, Yes even on the mainland they do costumed dancing, usually on special days, But in tourist Islands You see more as it is put on for the tourists, The dances and costumes vary greatly Island to island. This lot of dancers were very gently some are very energetic. Keep well mate. Al
