    I got one and I have been wearing it all day with all my gear. I suspended a "light" battle belt to it over my pants belt. My pants stay up and with comfort. Thank you!

    Hey Kyle, just wanted to say thank you on the big help that your sling gave my guys in theater around the surge years....We never seen anything like that around that time and it made a huge difference in an urban environment with scaling compound walls, vehicle dismounts, and general weapon retention...I don't know if you had buddies in Asymmetric Warfare Group or not, but they gave us the goods with that sling and tactics.. I never went back..Thanks again from over ten years ago lol

    These are a necessity if you're running a battle belt with your kit. It's a great product it works well.

      @@austins7376 Yes!
      It's not a night and day difference as some claim. But the difference is enough to where my back felt better at the end of the night. So they are well worth the money!

    Hey Kyle. Not to be argumentative but I have used suspenders with both my ALICE gear (M67) gear and later, when I transitioned to the more modern stuff. wear suspenders on my battle belt under my chest rig or plate carrier. I've never once had a problem with my suspenders pulling the back of my belt up as you described, and I am a tall fellow, 6'-4", and heavier than I should be now, but that's another story.
    My point is if your suspenders are pulling you belt up as you describe then you have them adjusted incorrectly. You belt should be set so that you hips carry about a third of the total weight and your hips carry two-thirds.
    Main reason for the suspenders is to redistribute your load and to hold things where they are so when you have to run everything doesn't fall down around your ankles.
    Also, I'm just not a lover of things that are springy, especially if those things bounce as I move.
    That's just me and I do love your products, I have a number of Viking products myself.

    Hey Kyle, who makes the holster/leg strap and magazine carrier? They look like the same color as the set up and is very sharp and clean looking.

  • @weathforjr
    @weathforjr Před 2 lety +1

    I love your slings. I have 4. Suspenders? Not so hot if you're 6'4" and don't want your waist up around your armpits. I suppose they could work if you cut the bungee element and replaced it with 550 chord, but that would defeat the purpose. I suggest charging 60 or so dollars and use about another 6" of nylon strap on either side, and you've got your larger brothers and sisters covered.
    Kanpai.

    How do you stop the suspenders from moving over? I bought these from your website and am having trouble keeping it centered in my back. Any suggestions?

    Viking Tactics, great product. My only suggestion would be to make a version with molle webbing on the suspenders, so we can mount things to them...

  • @reallyhappenings5597
    @reallyhappenings5597 Před rokem +1

    I'm only 5'10" and find that the Army issue scissor suspenders that these are based on are way too short. Did they come in different sizes? I have them maxed out and it's still wedgie -time big-time. Can't imagine how someone taller would even manage. Surely this hasn't been everyone else's experience?

    • @CzechSixTv
      @CzechSixTv Před 6 lety

      It's not a G-Code, the hood/bail is different. It appears to be a Blade-tech WRS, though that exact one(tan light bearing) isn't on their website. It is on Optics planet though

      Not exactly what you looking for, but this rig from T.Rex arms is works in a similar fashion(strap movement independent of holster orientation)...

    Great design, poor execution. Mine didn't last a week before the shock cord on one side gave up the black rubber bands inside the "nylon jacket?". The rubber bands pulled out leaving the jacket still held by the stitching. Not field repairable or repairable at all without a commercial sewing machine it would appear. Expensive disappointment.

  • @winstonsmiths2449
    @winstonsmiths2449 Před 3 lety +2

    Made in America stands of "over-priced". $50 is ridiculous! I will order Chinese since I know they are the enemy but charge realistic prices. Even with skilled labor, these could not take more than 10 minutes per to make, tops. I will pass.

    • @JustinLaFleur1990
      @JustinLaFleur1990 Před 3 lety +1

      You get what you pay for, I've bought Chinese crap before and it falls apart, U.S. products are not over priced, you are paying for a quality product.
