Specific Language Impairment

Often finding it difficult to communicate with and understand others, Darren Lavender and his team want people to be more mindful of those with specific language impairment (SLI).
The 23-year-old from Broughton near Chester needs time to process information and to speak and can struggle to follow if someone talks without pausing or uses particularly complicated vocabulary.
He wants people to be more accepting of those with similar conditions, so others can feel confident enough to ask for help.
