Great video - your thought about visual layout match my own, having come from DAW production. Just put together my latest dawless setup of Digitakt 2, Syntakt and Roland TB-3. I’m super keen on the OXI but wondering whether the 4 tracks will be enough for all 16 on DT2, 8 on ST and one left to generate interesting 303 patterns on the TB3. Can you give me an idea whether this would be possible?

I rarely go more that 64 steps for a pattern, but I hadn't thought of using the Oxi to get to 128. I am definitely intrigued by the option. The only down side I see to using the Oxi to sequence the DT is that you will lose the per step parameter change in the DT sequencer, since you will just be triggering the note/sample. Maybe using the Oxi to essentially trigger different patterns in the DT might be a better way to pair the two as you can trigger CC via steps in Oxi.
As in life, trade offs with decisions we make. One thing I’ve tried to do is roll with it in this space as there is no perfect setup. Just try to keep having fun! Thanks for sharing your thoughts.
