It wasn't her last tour. This was the 2000 tour celebrating 50 years in the business. Her last tour was 2008-2009. I was lucky enough to see her that final tour. I saw her November 5th, 2008 in Orlando, Florida. Was the best concert I ever attended in my life; pure magic! I miss her already so much! ♥

This is not Tina's last tour, her last tour was in 2009. I know because it was the only tour i never went to and regretted it to this day. This is Tina's twenty four seven tour which was in 2000.

Wow what an unexpected treat to watch this so many years later. And as I expected what a true professional, knows what she's doing, guides everyone along with her, hard work but you can see they were also having fun. No Diva attitude, simply one of the best Rock singers and performers of all time. I want to go back in time and re live these concerts I went to of hers, I'll remember them all my life.

I saw Tina Turner's Farewell Tour here in Philadelphia with Joe Cocker ,Tina Turner is Phenomenal and Simply The Best! In the seventies I saw her with Ike and The Ikettes doing Proud Mary Live! Right up by the stage.

How many people do you know who run through their whole show to make sure it’s perfect theirselves? I can understand why she was so tired of doing shows she’s a natural perfectionist who’s essentially doing a 4 hour show every day. 2 hours rehearsals 2-3 hour show depending on how fired up the audience was. I can only think of Celine Dion and Queen doing the same amount of work during their rehearsals making sure to perform the show and make sure the acoustics sounded good for whatever venue they were at. Tina definitely deserves her retirement.

In the concert that Tina Turner gave in Rio de Janeiro in Brazil in front of more than 150,000 people she was over 70 years old and showed that energy and dynamism that, in my opinion, no one could compare with her. Simply the Best. RIP my eternal Queen of Rock and Roll.

i cry a little every day since she passed away ... i saw her so many times in concert... yesterday i also visit my hometown Zuerich.... i was so proud that Tina move to here at that time in Kuesnacht .... 2 miles from here Algonquin house i often go the zuerichsee beach and i walk over sidewalk her house.... (NO I AM NOT A STALKER, hahaha....) unfortunatly i never seen her in all the years in private in Zuerich, only at her last concert, but i think, when she´s not singing, Tina wants enjoy her Iife and rest...i love her so much, but god took her now and we will remember this icon... the QUEEN of Rock´n Roll ... nobody can ever hold a candle to her...

I understand… different strokes for different folks, but just seeing that Tina could successfully and gracefully pull off comebacks at 60 and 70 performing at that same level and with the same energy she always had makes me wish Michael Jackson could’ve done the same thing at 50. I guess physical and mental health are KEY to this work.
Exactly. MJ and TT had issues in their childhood AND adulthood. They just chose to deal with it differently. Now that I am older, I really think MJ was abusing the pain Rx to deal with more than physical pain. As a person in recovery, I know for a fact that no one can abuse Rx regularly and live a decent, long life.

Wow, she’s doing so much direction on stage (where is help), she’s a nonstop energy ball, in high heels and how she walked on that walk-out machine carefully yet care-free (again where is help) she needed physical barrier support for safety, the 2nd layer stage add on looked so unsafe Lmaoo man, definitely a thing of the past. She was so much a part of my life since I lived in the 60’s. This happens to be th only hairstyle I didnt like on her and was happy when she ditched it. She was surely a fantastic performer who gave it her all. The stamina involved in doing what she did amazes me.

This is so remarkable to see the Buddhist passion and energy of pure love with Tina even after all of the medical challenges, she is there on stage in Zurich, and this is the eternal Tina we all will love and sing with daily to her songs, we will not lose her energy...she lives on in our hearts. Her background singer MAXAYN LEWIS truly shared some special memories with me when I lived with Maxayn and these memories of all of you who were close to Tina are forever special.
