I love how you are one of the few people that shares your actual opinion. I agree with everything you said. Although they’re releasing boring items to have a big update, the biggest part will just be a money grabber again. All the prices have been raised, even to the point that they don’t release two sets for their animal bundle. If they want to make the animals more expensive, at least make them better. Animal Jam is becoming more boring as now they’re mostly focusing on money, and the future, but not the current state and how they can make it better.
I've noticed too - I'm a new content creator - and the updates really don't feel like anything to me. It's just another 500-ish obligatory saps to spend on a new den and new animal - and then forget about. And, about the content sphere - I agree with you. I feel like there's a pretty wide divide between the underground, unheard of content creators, and the famed ones. I feel like it is going down, but recently there's been a small high-note. I could barely log on the days between the party favor items and glacier landmarks on the aj timeline.

i've been trying to make videos again for a while, specifically videos where i troll scammers because it's been largely requested in my comments section. due to the lack of players, this has been impossible and my hours of footage trying to find players to interact with has gone straight to the trash. the only opportunity to record something now would be an update, however clearly thats unreliable. this community wont survive sadly
Thank you for your insightful perspective on the decline of animal jam. I know other CZcamsrs have also been talking about experiencing a content drought, mainly with animal jam classic. I didn't realize those same struggles were also prevalent in play wild, and that's really unfortunate to see.
There was a sneak peek on the blog aj has, but it never showed the animal, just the siluhet (idk how to spell xp) i think aj is making a big update for dragons and that's why the updates have been a little late?
Oh yeah I forgot about that. It looked like a wolf. Sadly that is probably a reskin or a copy cat animal..

I definitely agree, animal jam is becoming boring 😭 ( in my opinion ) I’ve never really made update videos, mainly just movies and skits.
And this might offend some people but, I don’t really like commentary CZcamsrs that much, it’s just so serious (there are a couple exceptions like Judostar, leamonpuppy, Lala and you of course XD)
But it’s taking over the animal jam community, it’s hard to find actual skits nowadays.

To be honest the french AJ community is completely dead , as a french person every time i go on a french server every maps are empty and also the inside of shops etc , and the only people playing are mean , disrespectful french jammers who insult other jammers etc. And this makes me sad because I've been playing to still game since the beginning.. and it used to have sooo many french jammers in the french server and so many kind jammers but now.. its so bad and i almost stop going on french server :/ ..
