I will never have time on this earth to adequately grasp and appreciate the depth and beauty of this miraculous artists work. I’ve got a lot of work ahead of me.

I am so grateful to have his music, it has helped me through a lot of tough times. He has such beautiful and deep words, and the perfect personality to go with it all.

When the interview was over and Bob left the room, John hung around and
we began to chat. There was no one else in the studio. When he learned my son was a Marine stationed in Iraq,
John picked up on my concern for my son's well being. The next 30 minutes I spent

I was grateful to see John at Radio City Music Hall on what would turn out to be his last tour. His passing hit very hard… he had survived cancer… twice… but Covid stole him away. Now Gordon Lightfoot has left us also…
It’s so strange to realize that as I get older myself… I shouldn’t be surprised to hear about people I grew up listening to or watching… are gradually living their last years… and one day they are … gone. We all have our limited time… I guess… it’s just the way it is. Hope that John’s spirit was able to be aware of Gordon’s spirit’s arrival… two great voices… reunited… 🎵💐🎵

One time I was singing Far From Me and when I was done, someone asked what the heck does "an old broken bottle looks just like a diamond ring" mean? I couldn't fathom how anybody couldn't see the symbolism in that line..... Also always loved "I guess that love's like a Christmas card, decorate a tree, throw it in the yard" too.
