this is an awesome vlog!! i recently earned my degree in elementary education, but i'm afraid it's not what i want to do. i'm thinking about getting a masters in science of information since my passion is supporting kiddos (academically, emotionally, socially, etc.). the classroom is just too chaotic overwhelming for me, so it's interesting to hear more about your day :))

This was so cozy and magical! So curious where you studied and whereabouts you work in Ontario? Would also love to hear how much you get to work directly with kids. I'm studying Children's Media and super interested in being able to have more interaction with the little ones!

I went to school in Toronto to become a Child and Youth Worker! My degree led me to so many incredible opportunities like being a preschool teacher, teaching at a Montessori school, and eventually finding my way to becoming the Children’s Librarian! I am working with children all the time. Creating and running programs is a fun part of my job, but not the main part. I feel like the most important part of my job is teaching all of the children I meet that the library, is a safe space. They know when they visit the library, Miss Brittany (me 😉)will be excited to hear their stories, and will always be ready to help them with whatever they need ❤️ same goes with the adults I meet as well! My Instagram is Missbrittloveslit if you ever have any more questions and want to send a message!
