    Cool tute. One thing to keep in mind though is that whereas Ball Action is a 3d effect, the glass effect works in 2d space.

      wym disappears? in the layer panel or viewer panel? I actually have no idea why it is, either way. weird

    is there a way to adjust the spacing between each ripple?I want only one per,about,three seconds.

    • @BWayMotion
      @BWayMotion  Před 7 lety

      You can change the frequency of the producer, but that might not make it how you want it. I just tried messing around with the effect some more to see if I could figure it out, but I'm not sure there is a way to get the exact look you want, sorry.

    Do you know how to change the color of the actual wave world layer form the default gray? thanks!

    • @BWayMotion
      @BWayMotion  Před 3 lety +1

      If you add a Hue Saturation effect, set to colorize. Or add the Toner effect and play with the midtone- you can toggle the default "tritone" to "pentone" and then mess with 3 middle tones.

    is it possible to apply this to an image?

    • @BWayMotion
      @BWayMotion  Před 7 lety +3

      There are two ways you can do this.
      1) Overlay the height map on the image and precompose, then apply cc ball action and the other effects after that.
      ...or...
      2) Use the "Displacement Map" effect. Apply the displacement map effect to your image, make a pre-comp of the height map (wave world effect), then set the pre-comp layer as the map under effect options on your image. Increase the horizontal and vertical displacement to your liking and that's it.
      Hope this helps. If you get stuck or if this explanation is too vague, let me know, I will try to explain a little better. :)

    • @BWayMotion
      @BWayMotion  Před 7 lety

      Yes, just use a text layer instead of a solid. That should work.
