Tip #19, don't be afraid of people, I find that difficult...
It is difficult. And for someone who is an introvert, such as myself, I have to learn to do it over and over again. I may go into a place feeling timid but, over time, will warm up and become braver and braver. Then I'll put my camera away for a couple of months and when I come back, I am timid all over again. However, to be honest, I find walking up to strangers and taking their pictures without asking much less difficult than stopping and and asking them for permission.
totally agree with you. Plus, asking to take a photo of them will cause your photo unnatural , and I don't think that's a part of street photography. but hey, you should observer their attitude before doing so. Some are quite annoyed and you might get sued in certain countries.
Depends on the country/culture you live in. In mid-east and Balkan countries when people see a camera in the hands of a stranger, they immediately start smiling and always ask you to send those photos. This breaks the first barrier you have and helps a lot.
I agree, depends on the country or region. I moved to Munich and people are wary of cameras. Where as on a trip to India years ago was the exact opposite situation.

ya bro seriously the same problem .

straight to the point with good examples. Very informative. Haters out there, drop your ego. Who cares if anyone shoots in P mode. The end result is what matters.
