Welkynd stones are actually from the free cc rare curios. Nice to see Nolvus fixing a lot of the jank from the previous version, at least so far the list looks much more reasonable now.
I started the video just for a quick showcase of the upade and i watched all of it xD It was fun and to see that you argue the same way as i do about hunterborn and skyshard ahah Will enjoy the next video of the let's play ! :) And for the civil war... IMPERIAL!! those crazy stormcloaks are following a blinded racist dictator :0
Haha thanks for watching. Yeah I think Hunterborn is cool and unique, but man it slows the pace of the game. Maybe in a non-Dragonborn playthrough that's survival-focused it's a bit better. Skyshards though.. yikes.
The way you play hunterborn, is you disable all the wait times, and all the animations, and the screen fadeout, and then its actually fun because you can get ingredients from the animals you kill and skins, which makes for a nice immersive gameplay, but not tedious and something that doesn't take a ton of time. Its how I play it anyway.
Thank you for your playthrough! I am a fan of Nolvus. Although, It seems a bit imbalanced yo the "easy" mode, don't you think? At level 2 you alone cleared a bandit area :/ I fear to get bored soon if the Game is soooo easy.
That's why I cranked it up to expert then died to wolves lmao. If you want to see a better challenge, my DNGG let's play features Requiem. Arkay's Commandment also got updated if you want a REALLY big challenge :D

I resently got Nolvus and when installing there was an alternate leveling option that would give me exp for killing and exploring. I was curious to test it but I've noticed that I no longer seem to get exp for combat skills like 1-handed, archery, etc. Does anyone know if this is intended?
Do you know if it's safe to turn off the Nolvus downloads or installation before it's finished? Because I don't know if I'll be able to download/install this in one take. Nice videos btw 🙂
Just disable archiving essentially does that for you. Alternatively if you have multiple drives, you can let the archives get saved onto a seperate folder. It doesn't have to be the same one as the main Nolvus folder.
dumb question, how do you level up your skill tree with the new xp model, do you need to talk to npc of that certain skill to pass from 10 to 15 or it is another way?
Is there a way to disable the glow on books? I guess its highligting the ones you havent read yet, but it would really kill the immersion for me if I had to play like this.

Yeah I'm not sure how Nolvus handles it. I think it downgrades the actual Skyrim EXE to 1.5.97 in the stock game, but it comes with most if not all of CC.
@@biggie_boss Yeah same thing as Nolvus 4.4 i guess where AE was downgraded to 1.5.97. I thought when he meant Nolvus 5.0 was gonna be AE only i thought it was without the downgrade.

Not really. You can keep your downloads on a different drive though. Even an external one.

V5 from my experience is a lot more stable than V4. I'd say it's worth it, even though Nolvus takes a long time to install :P

Do Not Go Gentle because I like the feel of Requiem + modern combat + has nice visuals and no added clutter mods for the most part.

Redux, low lods, low ini settings at a lower resolution is all you can really do. Maybe even swap the enb for a performance one.

idk much about modpacks but the distance you move forward when you attack and the low npc render distance kinda suck
Yea it isn't for everyone. You might like my DNGG series a bit more :) the animations are less fantasy-style and have more OOMF
I mean, you could just turn up the npc render distance in the ini files...

@@laxman.mshettigar7738 A lot of the mods used in the modpack have yet to be upgraded for AE so the downgrade is necessery.
