    In the IS300 2JZ maintenance video I didn't show how to change the transmission oil because it was primarily based on engine maintenance. So I thought I'd make a video showing this. I wasn't going to film it, but then I change my mind at the last minute because I wanted everyone else to also know, ha!
    I hope this is useful for everyone. Thanks for watching!

    When I took the car for a drive, I drove for a little while in manual mode cycling through all gears and then drove a little in auto mode at various speeds and on different roads. Thanks for watching! 🙏

    Thanks for making the video. I also have IS300 with automatic gearbox and in my case the third gear acts same as you described it. Can you give some feedback now after a while if the transmission fluid change made any difference for the third gear engagement?

    How many miles did your car have when you change the transmission oil I heard if you do that you'll you might ruin the transmission

    • @shizukesajdm
      @shizukesajdm  Před 2 lety

      I think that’s usually for manual transmissions, they’re a little harder to change too. There’s nothing wrong with changing the oil if you do it right! 👍🏻 My car has 108k miles on it.

      @fatassasianman6511 Před rokem

      doing a flush on higher mileage cars can possibly ruin. If you car is up there in miles just drain and fill with newer ATF every 20-30k miles and everything will be good
