838 km in 24h Food Delivery on EUC | From Helsinki to Rovaniemi, New World Record!

- Welcome onboard the journey from Helsinki to Rovaniemi where I attempt a New World Record by delivering a Fafa's Pita-bread from Jätkäsaari all the way to a customer in the Rovaniemi woods. And of course, riding only an electric unicycle, trying to complete the delivery within 24 hours! Come along for the ride and see how it goes!
This is the hardest challenge that I have done so far. None of the previous monthly challenges can compare in terms of how tired, wet and exhausted I felt while doing this.
Here are the stats of this World Record performance:
838 km traveled in 23 hours, 52 minutes and 51 seconds.
I used 4 electric unicycles to ride the whole way, 3 Veteran Shermans and 1 KingSong S22 Eagle. We had a support car following me the whole way with 2 generators strapped to a trailer behind, powering the chargers for the wheels, which made this whole thing possible. I didn't have much time to rest in between the riding, which made it much worse.. and I only ate 3 meals during the whole trip!

The last travel to Rovaniemi must have been a torture. I've made some trips while raining and with terrible roads, here in Chile half of the roads are in bad shape. Going slow is maddening.
Totally agree with you, because my average riding speed dropped from 60 to 40 I did not stop in last 3 stops. And with even this speed it was a torture for the legs, specially after 700km straight riding. 😅

Тут две модели ) veteran sherman и Kingsong s22. То что с подвеской лучше, но тяжелее для новичков.

What a great and crazy trip! During my last visit to Finland I've ridden a EUC from Lahti to Espoo, it was a big trip for me and it was only 123km. Cannot imagine how tired you were after 800+km in one day!
Have you measured the total Wh of charge that you've used? Would be interesting to see how many Wh per 1km you got.
Was my hardest challenge so far, very tiring. About kw/km have not measured but I can check that later )

Interesting, I was under the impression Traficom didn't allow registering EUC as mopeds. My information might be old, I need to look into this.

I feel like their are two type of riders for EUC. People who ride them like motorcycle and the other that ride them like bicycles

since those thing are limited to 25kmh, how did you manage to beat it
This ”things” are only limited by motor power. The risk is only that you can overpower them if your PWM gets more than 100%. On cheapest 500wt models can go even less than 25km/h top speed. The top EUC models nowdays can go up to 90km/h. Thats why all the way I was checking on the phone the PWM the speed and that the PWM is no higher than 80% and max speed not over 70km/h. Sadly the models with more than 1kw power are unregulated. My models have 2,8kw and 3,3kw power. Which is equal to 4hp or 117cc bike like for example Honda ct70 bike which can get similar 75km/h top speed ;)

How did you get permission to drive these EUC on public roads?
My understanding is any electric vehicle that can go faster than 25km/h is not street legal in finland. Been hoping the law would allow these amazing machines, but so far Traficom hasn't been friendly to them.

I have A1, B, C driving licence. I would say they are currently poorly regulated. Because they are in same category as hoverboards aka toys.

But as often... a reaction can be too quick... And when it comes to Carbon footprint, and despite the battery, EUC stays one of the lowest carbon footprint way of travel. (Ratio KwH/carried person).

@@VonZekk Oh give me a break 😂 First of all, I dont have handlebars I don’t need them to drive, so I can use my hands and phone freely how I want, usually I use it for checking My speed and map directions, secondly most part of bicycle road on google maps to Rovaniemi is on motorway, there is literally no other road, and thirdly how I am speeding on a motorway If the speed limit there is 100km/h? Also I am using sideroad if there is any 😂 And lastly actions performed on this video are done by professionals, don’t try this yourself 😁
