Are you at all concerned about rocks/debris getting caught in that skid plate? Either causing rust/corrosion or actual rocks hitting your U-joints?

I wasn't until now! But not really. The powder coat on the skid plate is pretty thick. I don't see rust as an issue.

That skid plate is a bad idea IMHO. Like a differential shovel. Also the lowest point of the van is more so. Source a heavy-duty 9.75" diff cover from a hard core Off-Road outfit and call it good. Just my .02.
