or you could use anguish for bonus 5% to all the hits
ThomasBrawn its actually 5 range str, not a 5% buff. It has 15 ranged accuracy too. It generally works out to be atleast 5% more dps though, so technically i guess you arent wrong.

Are all of the skill requirements required to get to this part of the quest, or are they needed at quest start? Might be interesting to know for people making pk builds that only want this quest for this spot.
I believe that they are all required to start the quest but I could be wrong. You only use agility up until this point IIRC
I think Jagex made them stop dropping rune scimmy's, I've been there from 80-90 range and I didn't see any
Btw all u need to bring is one p pot, and if u bring rune pouch u can alch rune scimms and stay there forever or until u run out of range pots

I'm pretty sure Salve amulet doesn't work on these, since they're not classified as undead ingame or on the wiki

For people doing this method if u have a trimmed skillcape use it as it gives +4 prayer vs a prayer cloak or use and ardy cloak 4 for +6 prayer

Bring high alch runes for the rune scims so you don't have to leave them on the floor or drop p pots
Alternatively to a bullseye lantern, all types of kandarin headgear acts as a light source that cannot be extinguished.
+Brazen Rook you cant wear headgear without breaking the void set or losing out on range accuracy if not using void.....
Theo Souza You dont need the headgear on your head, only in the inventory for it to function

For a light source just take your seer's helmet from the achievement diary. No tinderbox needed because It cannot be extinguished. you're welcome. haha nice guide btw!
i did it for around half an hour, and calculated i'd get like 200k xp per 1k red chins. (90 range, potted)

Old guide, the salve (ei) does not work there anymore, use anguish, and red chins i get about 480kp hour while standing in the center of the cave, standing next to the wall gets me about 370k hour

You should have taken alch runes and just alched the rune scimmys then you could stay there for much longer
why would you stand in the corner. The most effective way to get the biggest spread around you is to stand in the middle.

Curious as to how the xp rate differs among levels
if you have the slayer lvl you can do nechs off task and make profit even with barrage i think. you just have to do more runs for your alchables

Salve amulet,anguish or fury? I realize prayer isn't to important because of the prayer pot drops but would anguish be better then salve or does the salve (ei) give a boost better then anguish?
