I love my Bamboo GTR but 3 grand is just too much. a tranzite 4wd e-board is the same price and a base model Bajaboard is only 500 more than the Hadean. What about making the new design remote available for GTR riders as I know many including myself have broken remotes.
Both these boards are starkly different to an Evolve. The Tranzite is 4WD hub motors on normal trucks, I literally can't think of a worse combo personally, and the Baja is a tank, if all you want to do is ride off road, it could be suitable but in case you havent ridden one, it's a whole other ride, like comparing a go kart to a rock crawler, yeah they both have four wheels but that's kinda where the similarities end. Apples and oranges my friend.
They've said it a few times now that the Phaze remote will be backwards compatible when the Hadean demand slows down, which I can't wait for.
I think people need to relax and wait for these boards to have more rider reviews, yeah, pricing seems steep, and the specs aren't massive, but if it's significantly refined, maybe they have really pushed the boundaries in a new way. Anyone can pack a board with heaps of battery and put massive motors on it, but we've been using 4 cylinder engines for 100 years and realistically, they haven't gotten much bigger, just way better. Maybe the Hadean is the turbocharged EFI 4 cylinder in a world of carby V8's?

It’s just not worth it. Basically an extra $1500 for a lousy extra 10km in range and a marginal 6kph faster speed on the Carbon AT. Lights and a new remote are nice but are neither essential or necessary. The new board is heavier too which is a pain. I’ll keep my GTR.
I agree. Only worth it if you are really concerned about climbing hills.
As this video highlights, it is not worth it for every GTR owner as that board still ticks all the boxes for many people. We do suggest there is a difference between a spec sheet and ride experience so we encourage everyone to have a ride of the Hadean when possible!

Bought about 4 boards in the last years and since hadeans price and those stupid justification I’m gonna sell them and look for another company who’s authentic and interested in its customers wish to get the best product for a really justified price

Thanks for this clarification. The Hadean Bamboo was my least favorite choice prior to this. However this video changed my mind. I picked one up and couldn’t be happier.
I don't own a board, but use a friends GTR Carbon and it is so much fun. This video has definitely helped me understand the hadean series better

Range and speed are not an issue with the Bamboo GTR I ride. Relative lightweight @ sub 60kg. GTR easily handles the steeper pitches (~15%) around here. Less stress on motors and electronics are a plus, but right now hard to justify replacing the GTR based on cost. If the GTR goes wanky would probably replace it the M5 from unknown boards. Am interested in the new controller. Will a similar version be available for us GTR users?

Absolutely loved my bamboo GTR but it’s getting a little older now, with no license I’m doing everything on it but keep hitting a wall of wanting more speed and way more range, definitely got my eyes on the Hadean, just wayy out of my price range. The bigger motors are a necessity, I live on a mountain and hills are abundant, the smaller motors on the gtr overheat constantly. Need the hadean guys 🤩
You have the GTR 1, the new GTR 2 comes with the same big motors as the Hadean, just not as powerful because the battery and ESC holds it back. I do think you should look at getting a Hadean while they’re currently on sale, it’s a massive jump up from the GTR.

It is hard to tell the feeling of the board just with the specs and price. I am sure the bamboo drop down is a huge improvement to lock the feets. But what to think about the new deck that has a lot of flex? and the dkp that seems to have different cinematic more turny? It is probably very great for carving. But when the speed increases, is-it safe? On internet, we compare quite randomly, we will never know what we would have choosed after a 10 timutes try. Would I be on a carbon or a bamboo deck after one try ?
I can’t speak on the carbon. But I’ve been on the bamboo 3 times since getting it. And carving at 18ish is smooth and sweet. I typically ride a Onewheel. And once I’ve adjusted between the difference in the feel between the 2 (usually a few blocks). This thing carves just as nice.

My Carbon GT is toast now. BUT!!! The good times and memories are priceless the evolve product is an elite brand which I feel has an amazing team behind there product While there working! I Bought the board for 2000$ and now it won’t even respond I’m sure it is the battery because it’s one of the earliest models I would like to fix it but don’t know forsure because of price and if the rest of my hardware is worth investing? Wat do you guys think?

I personally think the newer models are too flashy for daily commuters like myself... this is way too expensive for me to wanna be stared at by everyone that I pass by haha especially with how fast I skate. But... that's just me. I have the carbon gt. And it's a dream come true I've had it for 5 years. Everything inside is totally diy now though.

I was really hoping the clicking wheels would be fixed. I think they need to be alloy or at leak where the bearings mount. It’s super annoying!

The H Bamboo longer than the Carbon ? That’s a first, wonder what the logic behind that is as I love the agility and carvability of the BGTR’s shorter deck. Strange …..
The deck length is (as the carbon was made short to accommodate the large motors), but the wheelbase in the short Bamboo configuration is not so you'll still find it to be agile.

I bought the GTR Bamboo with everything, but I fell and the screen of the remote control stopped to work, I have contacted the Evolve to ask for a screen cause it is easy to change, but they said they cannot sell it's parts and I have to send to them to fix it, so they want to charge me a lot. Think better if you want to buy something, cause you will have to spend much more to fix when it breaks, and you can find nice brand with great boards cheaper

I love how people are saying there is hate within the E-skate community. Since when did disagreeing with someone or being opposed to an idea become hate? Actions express hate, not words. To call someone a fanboy or bringing up their personal finances in order to tell them to stop being poor is absolutely childish and immature. We should all be able to agree that both sides of this debate have valid points. The price point is extremely high. For a couple hundred more you can get a LaCroix board. Which is way more custom and service oriented than an Evolve. It doesn't really make sense for Evolve to try to get to that price point. On the other hand Evolve has always been able to make people excited about their products. In my eyes Evolve pioneered the E-skate scene and community. I did a lot of shopping around before I bought an Evolve. I was gonna get the M1, then the XTND, then Exway, but eventually I settled on Evolve even though at the time it was extremely expensive for my taste. Regardless Evolve has an aura about them that makes them feel like they are part of a community. Something bigger. As long as they have that people will buy the board regardless of price. To say that you expect them to have their new board replace the GTR is also kind of asking a lot. It wouldn't be, if they were a huge company who would make their R&D back. It wouldn't be if we weren't amidst a pandemic with supply chains everywhere disrupted and shortages abound. That being said... This isn't a major update by any means. Bigger battery, added (nonfunctional) lights, tweaked the design. The price point is steep. I wouldn't expect the price to replace the GTR but still. It's exceedingly high. What I really think everyone is paying for is the new remote. Regardless the demand will dictate the price. If it drops we will know it was over priced. If it doesn't Evolve did what it does best. Create a market and a niche for itself. Personally I won't be buying this board at this price point. It will drop.... Eventually. I just had way to many problems with my GTR to justify paying a price like this.
I used to be so stoked about owning an Evolve board. Eventually my dream was made into reality. Don't get me wrong Evolve has great customer service! Their boards though? Not so great. From screws falling out in the middle of rides, to my brakes locking up on me at speed and throwing me off....
When I heard about the Hadean I was excited. But after seeing the price tag I decided I'm cool off that. For real though. I spent almost 2k on a GTR and now your asking for more for lights on the side and a minor update? It's not worth the price. Definitely not if the same issues I had weren't addressed.
One thing I will say is that they did listen to us with a remote. I have spent probably over 600 on remotes. It's about time they made one that can withstand the sport we enjoy instead of capitalizing on their engineering mistakes.

So, the Hadean battery can’t be changed as easily as on the GTR?
More the fact they don't have a travel battery for the hadean.
It uses 12s, the current travel battery is 10s.
Any update on our Hadeans? What’s the true delay? They were scheduled to deliver early October.
Support is one of the things Evolve boasted about in all your years in the market but lately Evolve’s communication and support is quite lousy. We all went struck with COVID and that’s ain’t a excuse no more.

What riders weight were those claimed range tested based on? does both boards come with the Led light or one has to buy that separately? What comes in the box? If I'm going for the Hadeon or the GTR 2in1s, Am I getting a AT & a street setup, or I'm only getting one & will have to purchase the other one separately? and when we mean "street setup" what's the setup, wheels, pulleys and bearing or what? See, you make these videos but, hide the details as to what we are actually paying for and how to setup what we're paying for. One last thing I'd say is, don't make klara the payment option exclusive to people in the US alone, you'll be making a killing if you only let people from around the world enjoy the same payment option as the "muricans".

It depends on the specifics of your set up, but most decent invertor/battery set ups can handle charging these.

Hadean is 12.3-13.6kg depending on setup, while the GTR is 9.8-11.3kg. The Hadean is about 2.5kg or 5lbs heavier.

Why is it so expensive?
It may be expensive, but it is not overpriced and that the price difference is highlighted in this video along with the Behind The Hadean documentary. Every rider to step foot on the Hadean feels the immense difference so we certainly recommend people try the board when possible and make the decision about if it is the right board for them.

So why would I an evolve board over the other electric skateboard competitors? When it’s soooo much more expensive, weaker, has smaller and cheaper motors, a weaker esc, similar batteries if not weaker? I’ve bought your boards from the past and some of them were bad. Especially the controllers and having to lose link to the board which in turn will suddenly stop and have you go flying. This has happened many times. Stand by for a lawsuit
What’s right for me is making the Hadean’s remote compatible with the GTR. If Evolve isn’t willing to do that then they should at least redesign the GTR REMOTE body to the Hadean remote body. If you take a minor spill it’s pretty easy to break the GTR remote. I’ve learned from experience. And then I bought a replacement and it says low battery all the time. It holds a charge but the screen is always saying low battery. Now I just check the color of the power button when it is illuminated to determine my battery level for the remote. Evolve has refused to replace it so now I am stuck paying $150 for a defective product. Don’t get me wrong, I love Evolve but they can do way better for existing customers. Please don’t leave us in the dust after Hadean takes off.
Hey TS, the Phaze remote will certainly be available for all GTR & Stoke customers. We do need to get Hadean demand under control but stay tuned for when the Phaze GTR will be available!

I specifically bought the GTR Carbon a while ago because the load weight were 120kg, while the bamboo were 100kg. Now you're saying gtr carbon max weight is 100 kg and hadean is 120kg. Lol....
Where did you buy it from!? The GTR was always 100kg in both boards since launch.
@@aguycalledmatty9512 It says so on the product page where I bought it from. Here's the link: evolveskateboards.de/collections/evolve-carbon-gtr/products/gtr-carbon-2-in-1 read down in the specifications and it says max load 120kg.
On the comparison site where you can compare the bamboo gtr vs the carbon gtr, it said 100 kg both, which was confusing. So to be 100% sure, I contacted evolve via the chat function on the evolveskateboards.de and asked if the carbon gtr max load were 100 or 120 kg. They confirmed to me that max load on the carbon gtr was 120 kg and not 100 kg as it said on the comparison site. I even have a screen of that. Since lm 110kg, I wanted to be absolutely sure before I bought it.......
@@aguycalledmatty9512 Now they even have updated the comparison charts and the carbon gtr, all versions of it, is listed as 120kg. I wouldnt buy the board if it were listed as 100kg. Whats the correct max load weight? Shouldnt be this confusing
@@thomassandvik5537 Best reach out the then directly. I believe they have a 2 year warranty instead of 1 year in the rest of the world so on high strain parts like motors it’s probably ok to cover the higher weight for a longer time.

Ive heard from dozens of people now that there are even heavier riders than 120kg and the boards do just fine as long as you dont smoke then up steep hills all the time so I dont think I need to stress out about it. Were just confused to learn that the carbon gtr originally is listed at 100 kg 😄
Option C: Waited for the release of the new evolve board but less than impressed, then after watching this czcams.com/video/DcNPNpc9lwU/video.html I just bought a 2 in 1 Ownboard AT for half the price of the GTR, delivered. Might even buy a second.
When are you guys going to address the issue with people getting thrown off their boards getting seriously injured or almost killed? It's not been just one or two isolated cases but many all over the internet so you can't just be sweeping it under the carpet and blaming it on 'user error'.
