F 2nd never fails to improve the MVs which makes the og look really outdated. F 2nd’s version should’ve been in all games that have this song in it.

Yyyeeaahhh... F2nd remains the winner, why would they keep the old PV for the future games anyway? I thought the goal was to make the music videos as close to music videos as possible...

Because its a direct port of "Arcade Future Tone" Not F/F 2nd and lack of supported funds for recopyrights, which is why moved on to SEKAI since mods exist, which does beg the question, "Why block out mods with updates when u see the community is this HUGE?!"

Is it me, or are f2nd edition Miku's hands smaller than future tone's? they look finer

Its not u. AFT 7.10/FT/DX/MM/MM+ uses the official latest of VF5 Models and this song and PV was release when Arcade (before Future Tone of refined facials and smaller hands, and more thats in VER B of AFT/7.10. VER A was more so of a refined DT Arcade models which, for some reasons, the hands are unnecessarily HUGE

Because the person above me had a seizure writing here is for clarification: dreamy theater had a different art direction for the models. Unfortunately, most of the pvs in future tone/megamix are from Dreamy theater. Dreamy theater had larger proportions for the characters to accentuate them. And a large majority of the pvs in future tone are just upscaled and ported to future tone with some minor changes to textures. As for lighting that's tied directly to the shaders they use. So because the pvs were simply dragged to ft/mm the hands are ridiculously huge. That's why the models for fr/mm have lines of code that can essentially inflate the hands, so that the animations and such for the dt pvs don't look absurd. That's why In the F pvs like cat food and blackjack have the smaller hands and more expressions. Because from f onward in the mainline games, the characters showed more emotion and personality, and, the models had correctly proportioned body parts.
