ngl when she was announced i didn't know if it would like her, but now that i've had her for a month, i love her sm. like she's really just a stressed college student trying not to fail and yet really passionate about her major. in her story, she said that she for one, has always loved the culture of sumeru even if they weren't logical. she loved the crafts the vendors would sell, the art, and the music. she would take strolls there just to look at the beauty of sumeru. and her special item are photos of all of her friends and her enjoying life, even as stressed as she is most of the time. if you can't tell, i really like her. she's really sweet and too relatable lmao

@@hanin_gurl Yes, I take them a few hours before I go to sleep, instead of going to bed at 3-4AM it's now around 2:30-3 lol. It's odd though because I'm still managing to cope during the day even with little sleep 😅
@@Frierens_ Yeah same here, i take sleeping meds too and i need to take them early for better effects. I also manage with little sleep, but it is important to note that less sleep consistently does lead to hallucinations and etc. It can also cause psychosis due to the stress even if we don't really feel anything. So take good care of yourself and every time you feel even just a bit tired, take the opportunity to sleep or at least rest even if it's 5 min!

Its a shame they didn't do a more interesting passive for her, like when its night time she gains more atk speed or power, and in the day she gets more def or something like that. (Based on her dual personality)
Still, great character design.
Sadly her kit wouldn't benefit from atk or def, since her damage and shielding is all entirely based on her hp. It would be cool if in the night she gets more hp or even Cryo damage bonus!

I think he meant her other personality. In addition to chronic sleep illness Layla also has a double personality syndrome, or to be more accurate her double personality syndrome is caused by her sleep illness. There's "another" Layla that talks to the traveler who's much more confident and outgoing and is actually the one finishing Layla's homeworks and projects and takes her away to the desert even.
It's her other personality. She has two side personality, one is the one we meet during the event while the other one is her sleepwalking version that control her body after she fell asleep
I wonder if there's a reason why layla's sleepwalking self is so obsessed with going to the desert and climbing that wall
@@eniobiondi2749 my guess is because it’s the best place to record star chart and observe the stars, she studies theoretical astrology after all so it makes since why she frequents the desert and climbs to high places to get a better look at the stars.
